We just returned from a week's stay over the February half-term with our family and friends (4 adults, 4 teenagers and a tween). We booked it through Crystal Ski so we were not sure what to expect but had a fantastic experience. The hotel staff couldn't have made us more welcome - from the initial greeting to the very end. This really made our trip. The hotel itself is perfectly located, in town and next to the lake and the rooms are clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The bar and restaurant are lovely, with very attentive staff and a great breakfast. I couldn't fault it.

Absolutely. This smallish hotel is run by very friendly welcoming staff who do everything they can to satisfy any special requests. We stayed on a B&B basis however dinner is an option that you can choose should you wish. Breakfast is plentiful with an excellent selection of hot and cold options served in a modern room with views of the lake. The hotel bar is large enough that you can sit and have a quiet drink or join in with others talking through your skiing exploits. Being located beside the lake means that it is less than 10 minutes walk (in ski boots) to the City Express, through the centre of the town therefore giving you the option of stopping for an après ski drink on the way back. The only minor drawback is that the bedrooms facing the lake have the railway tracks between them and the water which might make light sleepers opt for a room facing the other way. This hotel was perfect for our ski trip, being our first visit to this beautiful town, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we next visit.

A lovely little hotel with a family run feel to it the staff are great and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Me and my partner are returning guests as we enjoyed it so much the previous year on our ski holiday, the breakfast is also perfect and the rooms adequately sized, but well equipped with a comfy bed.

I highly recommend Hotel Seehof during summer. We stayed for a week. The view of the lake and mountains are fantastic. Amazing to wake up to each morning. It was lovely to sit on balcony in the evening after a day of exploring the region with a glass of wine and watch easy activity on the lake. Our hotel room was very homely and had everything we needed. It was spotless clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely, not imposing and were very helpful . Everything was super relaxed. We had our own car park space also so we could come and go as we pleased. It's about 2 minute walk to the train station too if we wanted to avail of the public transport. The trains did pass quite a lot but it didn't bother us, we just didn't keep the windows open at night. It was just certain trains that were noisy and one particular night that they seemed to pass a lot. I did use the ear plugs provided. If we are ever back in Austria again, we will definitely stay. Zell am See and Austria itself has so much to see and offer. What a beautiful country.

What an incredible experience staying at Hotel Seehof as a first time skier. The family run hotel is located close to the ski slope, restaurants, and night life around Zell am See. The owners are warm and inviting, and extremely knowledgeable about the area. They truly made this first time experience unforgettable. Thank you for everything. See you soon.

We stayed here for one night. The staff is really friendly. We had a room with a balcony with a great view of the lake and mountains. The breakfest is good with a great variation of fresh food. They have a parking at front. I would surely recommend this.

Fantastic friendly hotel, a small walk with skis to the gondola. I really enjoyed our stay, The room was clean and modern staff were very friendly and accommodating breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. We definitely intend on staying here on another ski holiday to the area

Hotel Seehof is in an excellent location- the staff are excellent and nothing is too much bother. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a good size. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I was in Zell Am Zee

We’ve just returned from a fabulous week staying at Hotel Seehof. Sonny, Willy and the team there couldn't have done more for us during our stay with them. The team deliver every time with friendliness, efficiency, great food with clean comfortable rooms overlooking the lake. The location of the hotel is perfect, which is nearby to the shops, bars and restaurants in town which is also had great accessible links to the buses and the train stations, making it easy to travel to from the airports. The hotel sits close by to the lake and benefits from being a short walk away from the main lift up to the slopes and mountains. I’d definitely recommend staying, it’s the perfect stay for a home away from home. Thanks Hotel Seehof, we’ll be back soon!
