The hotel is situated next to the sea between the 2 beautiful sandy beaches of St. Nicholas. For nature lovers, Gerakes beach is 3 km away - a famous turtle nesting beach with impressive sandstone and limestone cliffs. Argassi, a tourist town full of pubs, bars, restaurants and a variety of nightlife entertainment options is also close to the hotel, around 15 minutes by car. Guests will also find restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate vicinity, while links to the public transport network are to be found 500 m away. Zakynthos is approximately 15 km from the beach hotel and Zakynthos International Airport is around 20 km away. The hotel is a small building with a friendly atmosphere. Guests can expect a mix of modern and traditional styles, complete with facilities and services such as pool bar, restaurant, Internet access, a childrens playground and a car park. Further facilities include a lobby, safes in room, currency exchange facilities and WLAN Internet access (fees apply). All rooms of the hotel are bright, simply decorated and furnished, quiet and relaxing. Each room has a shower, twin beds,(few doubles)phone,TV, safe, Internet access, air conditioning and a fridge. A balcony or terrace also features in all rooms as standard and some rooms also provide a kitchenette. There is an outdoor swimming pool with poolside snack bar and sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also relax in the jacuzzi. Very nice and friendly hotel. I liked the area a lot, it is closed to many nice beaches, where you can reach by foot. Staffs are friendly and pool area is lovely and well maintained.
Free use of sunbed/parasol at the nearby beach is a huge plus. Really lovely beach!
Drink/food from the hotel is very good and reasonable price, wish they offer more choices though.
If you are looking for a relaxing stay in the island, not need much of night life, this is the place

We had a wonderful week long stay here. The hotel is as described and Hilary and Ria are so friendly and run the hotel really well! They also have 2 Labrador dogs Bailey and Baloo who are just an added bonus and don't cause any trouble. We had a superior room and it was really comfy with plenty of room and storage, the shower was hot with good pressure. Our room was kept clean everyday and came with Aircon, fridge, kettle and safe (big enough for a 10inch tablet). The breakfast is always fresh and offers cooked items, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, bread, cakes and pastries with tea and coffee. The staff all work extremely hard and deserve a lot of thanks and credit. The pool area is beautiful and the pool itself is a big size and warm, the day bar serves drinks, food and ice cream during the day that are all reasonably priced and tasty! The evening menu is small but tasty and again well priced. The area is lovely and quiet, plenty of beautiful sandy beaches our favourite for watersports was Banana beach (10-15 minute walk) but Plaka beach was also beautiful and quiet. St Nicholas beach is lovely and closest to the hotel. The hotel has several taverna's nearby our favourite being Familia closely followed by Mesala. Around a 20 minute walk further inland is Lithies tavern definitely worth a visit! My only complaint is that we were only there for one week, we are looking at returning next year for 2 weeks. I don’t understand how this was the the Nr 1 hotel in Vasilikos when I booked. Rooms look like I just went back in time to the Romanian seaside in the 90s. Also, they charge 10 euro/day for AC with temperatures over 33 degrees which is just theft.

Wow, what can we say, this hotel is a beautiful haven hotel. All the staff are amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast and food lovely. 1 min walk to an outstanding beach where when you show your hotel card you get sunbeds free. Stunning. The dogs are also a fabulous sight to see, love a lab. If you want a lively hotel/village this isn't for you, but of you want lovely food, atmosphere and woth great staff and to relax, this is the place for you. Thanks for an amazing stay

This is a beautiful hotel set in peaceful surroundings. Sami and Gwendoline run the bar and food during the day and are so helpful and friendly. They are absolutely lovely, nothing is too much trouble! The food is amazing. The pool area is clean and tidy and offers shade and full sun. There are lots of games, books and lots of little areas you can sit and relax in. I would thoroughly recommend.

Just back from our 6th. visit to the VBH and everything about the hotel and the staff was wonderful (even through the pandemic!) We are retired so are able to visit out of the school holidays. Hilary runs a very happy, relaxed ship and is always ready to help e.g. contact doctor if necessary. The little bar under the trees is open again in the evenings making an after-dinner drink a must! The pool area is beautiful and well-served by the bar-staff, the pool-side toilets are particularly well-appointed with showers, baby-changing facilities and automatic lighting. Although the hotel is B&B, lovely food is always available on request from the bar and the breakfast is excellent! There are several restaurants and a couple of bars within strolling distance, as well as car-hire and bus stops into Zakynthos town. St.Nicholas's beach and water sports are just around the corner, as are Vrahos and Plaka beaches. The standard bedrooms could use a bit of updating but the views over the pine trees and the gardens make up for it. We have already booked for 2024.

Stayed here 2 weeks ago and had a lovely time. Hotel nice close to the St Nicholas beach, free sun beds for hotel guests A couple of restaurants across the road, but apart from that it’s very quiet. Lovely comfortable bed. I asked for a low floor room and was given 120 which was perfect for me Good bar in the evening, nice friendly bartender Nice and relaxing enjoyed myself

Just home from our second visit this year to this amazing hotel. We have been staying here for many years and the friendly welcome and first class service is unbeatable ! Stunning location between two beautiful beaches, comfortable and clean rooms, plentiful breakfast, spotlessly clean pool and pretty gardens. Thank you so much to Hilary, Ria and all the team who work so hard.
