Hotel San Andrea

Stayed here for three nights, lovely sea view from room. Staff very helpful, took advantage of happy hour and breakfast options were perfect for us. Rooms were made up daily, were clean and no complaints here. We were happy here during our short break in Gozo.

The Hotel was nice and clean. Rooms are nice and beds and linens comfy. After checking into the Hotel we went down to the Restaurant/Bar for a drink and the Restaurant Manager showed no interest in serving us. After sitting there for some time we got up and left. This set the tone for us eating diner there. We found other awesome restaurants just adjacent to the Hotel and had great experiences dining there instead.

Set on Xlendi promenade, with views and gentle sounds of the Mediterranean Sea is this lovely hotel. We chose a room with sea view and sat on the balcony to read each evening and to watch the sun go down before dinner. The Zafiro restaurant is outstanding and we think it is very good value considering the amazing quality…what a great chef they have here! All of the staff were friendly and helpful and we couldn’t have had a nicer stay. Rooms are clean and practical and have TV, tea and coffee making facilities, en suite and hair dryer. I suggest you bring shampoo and a bar of soap unless you like liquid soap dispensers but I’m ‘old school’ and like my own products. Close by is a small but well stocked convenience store, fish bar, and a collection of small but pleasant bars and cafés. A cocktail bar is a short walk up the hill and is worth a pre dinner drink…but don’t forget to return here for an excellent meal. There’s a local bus nearby (2€) and the island tour buses stop here too just 50 yards away. Taxis are available and good value eg getting to the capital cost us 8€ (We used Bolt app for this). Gozo is a beautiful, gentle paced island and is well worth a visit. We were staying in Malta and came to this hotel for 5 nights, travelling from Valletta by fast ferry. (3€ Single).

Excellent service; good quality restaurant ; excellent location .

Nice place and a quiet hotel. The rooms were bright, clean and had a lovely sea view (balcony a bit small, but acceptable) Restaurant has a nice selection of meals, but buffet breakfas was a bit dissapointing. Would i go back - yes :-)

Great location! Restaurant staff friendly and breakfast was good. The downsides are many……street noise unbearable and loud music playing from neighbouring restaurant until 1am did not help. There’s also construction works - the area is being totally spoiled by modern developments which are unsympathetic to such a wonderful environment. The hotel is tired and seems a bit unloved. There’s a rooftop terrace that isn’t promoted - with a little bit of inves**ent could be a great amenity for hotel guests. The rooms need a facelift. Would only recommend for one or two nights.

Really really nice hotel with lovely view, right by the sea. Perfect stay for Gozo costal walk.

The hotel itself was authentic and beautiful! The view from our room was unmatched, overlooking the marina. The staff were lovely as well! Our server made so many great recommendations for traditional gozitan wine and food dishes. The front desk staff were also lovely!

We had a fantastic stay at San Andrea. The staff were very welcoming, the views superb, it's right on the water in a nice quiet setting. The breakfast was lovely. I would recommend staying here and we would love to come back
