We enjoyed out stay at this particular hostel. We found the staff to be lovely & inviting. A lot of them are volunteer. Breakfast is just toast & coffee but what more do you need? Bathrooms are basic, shower, sink, toilet - take jandals With our room we found it to be more open than expected, the lock on the inside does the job but can easily be opened from the outside, we got the full outdoor experience with reptiles coming for a visit during the night & the birds outside waking us up at 5:45am. On one night I’d like to note they had ‘live music’ that started at 10pm. The day trips are great, we loved our guide!

The hostel is a great vibe; you feel like you're in the jungle ! It's right on a busier street, but it's somehow mostly quiet. The staff is great, Taco (the hostel dog) is a little sweet heart. You can cook and store food easily, go for a swim in the pool and choose your own adventure. The beds are really comfy too. Plus the dorms have AC! I'll miss it.

Best Hostel ever. Staff very welcoming including Taco. Hostel offers a kitchen to cook your own food, has daily activities including a fantastic Salsa Class. Met some amazing humans here, plus the pool is great after a long day of exploring Tulum and the beers are very refreshing. Cannot wait to come back

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Lockers, drinking water, kitchen, hammocks, chill vibes, good outdoors and a pool. We stayed in a dorm which was air conditioned at night and the fans make it so that you can sleep sound even when there’s loud events happening in the city!

The place is a little green paradise. I’m not feel hot at all while outside is so hot. There is shady with trees, the wind blows luck, the music accompanies the leaves in the wind. Perfect for relaxing, sleeping in a hammock, or swimming, there are daily activities too. there is kitchens, free drinking water, and A**, Bicycles for rent . Specail the staff is very kind, friendlly, good service mild . I’ve got offer to upgrade to private room with air condition . It’s 4 share toilat with bahtroom and It’s clean whenever I used it. At 23.00 they stop the music . Btw the music they open is Nice.

Oryx feels like home away from home. Beautiful garden hammocks for resting and recharging. Clean. Friendly staff with a great sense of humor. Super cute dog. Outings if you aren't sure what to do with your day. Free coffee in the morning and water. Great rates. Can't say enough about this place.

Incredible value! This hostel has really chill vibes, lots of people seem to be staying here for extended amounts of time and there is a lovely community feeling. Great facilities to cook and store food in the big fridges. They have bikes you can rent for 150 pesos a day which were great. There is no bar but you can bring in your own drinks. The hammocks are great for relaxing and reading in! There were daily activities like visiting the beach or the cenotes which changed daily. It’s a short walk up the road to the main *****, meaning it’s nice and quiet around at night. The bunk beds are very high - try get a lower bunk! I would stay here again happily.

Cette auberge est de loin la plus mauvaise que nous avons fait. Nous avons pris la "suite" pour avoir une chambre avec un minimum de confort. Premier jour, coupure d'eau toute la journée... Au delà de la déco super gloque, plusieurs choses cassées, aucun porte serviette, serviette tachée, aucun ménage de fait durant la semaine (ici il ne faut pas aimer l'hygiène), pas de fontaine à eau comme dans les autres auberges, pas de nourriture en vente pour dépanner, par contre des bières et de l'eau à 3 fois le prix de la supérette d'à côté. Bref, au même prix il y a plein d'autres auberges beaucoup mieux comme le Mayan Monkey testée et approuvée.

Je n’y ai passé qu’une nuit entre mon trajet depuis Chetumal et pour prendre mon vol à Cancun le lendemain midi mais c’était exactement ce qu’il fallait, le dortoir fille est très bien équipé avec rideaux prises et lampes individuelles. C’est calme la nuit à la différence de plein d’autres hostel à tulum ce qui est super agréable pour une nuit de voyage avant d’aller à l’aéroport. Eau potable gratuite. Alejandro à la réception était super accueillant et sympa. Je recommande.
