Encantada Tulum

Dear Encantada Tulum, Thankyou for your wonderful hospitality during our stay. We had the most amazing holiday and celebration of our 10-year wedding anniversary - it could not have been better. The hotel was fantastic in every aspect. However, a business is only as good as the people working for it, and this is where Encantada really shines, thanks to the concierge team (Isabel, Oscar and Emily), but also everyone who works in the hotel was so friendly it makes a big difference. My wife and I visited Encantada Tulum in March for a few days away from our almost 2 year old and to celebrate a milestone birthday on a recommendation from another couple who had stayed here previously. This was the perfect trip for the two of us to get away and unplug. Encantada Tulum has a very intimate feel as there are only a handful of rooms and you are just steps from the beach. The concierge staff (Jorge, Elias, Abdiel, Victoria and Fabian) are all amazing and really made our stay special. They even left a little surprise in our room on my birthday. Everybody we met there treats you like family and really goes out of their way to make sure your stay is special. Everything you need is within reach and you don't need to leave the resort if you don't want to. We went on a day excursion through Primitive Xpeditions which we were able to set up directly through the resort (they have a host of activities and spa services you can schedule through the front desk) and the resort offers private transportation (additional cost of course, but well worth it) to pick you up and drop you off from the Cancun Airport. There is plenty to explore within walking distance of the resort and there are taxis that can get you more into town if you want to explore a little further out. We also made sure to take advantage of the relaxing yoga classes across the street at Encantada Tulum's sister property where you can use their pool as well if you would like. Would definitely recommend and we would definitely come here again. While you're here be sure to take at least one day to explore one or some of the many cenotes in the area.

Talk about paradise. This place was the perfect getaway. Tucked away on the beach with 8 private rooms. With only a few guests to serve, the service was top notch. Super responsive and helpful staff. Isabel was fantastic. So were the rest of the team. Really made our stay perfect. Everything we'd customizable and tailored to us. Massages at the spa were 10/10. Food was fantastic. Drinks were delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. We will be back!

We had our destination elopement at Encantada on the sea view deck. Mildred assisted us with the planning and was amazing in helping us plan everything from afar. Our elopement was more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. The staff was so helpful and accommodating for our day. The location was beautiful and the beach bar was wonderful. We thank Encantada for hosting our Elopement. It was a dream come true and we can’t wait to visit again.

The HONEYMOON of our dreams!!! Better than we could have ever imagined. We initially booked at La Valise hotel next door but due to unexpected noise we requested a room change and the staff kindly arranged for us to have a room at Encantada Tulum. We were over the moon to find out we were placed in an ocean-front room on the first floor. This room was well decorated, comfortable bed, and with the most beautiful view of Tulum beach. We spent 5 days lounging on the beach sofas, eating the delicious food, and enjoying the La Valise Spa. All of the staff were kind, courteous, and a pleasure to get to know. They even anticipated our needs and brought my husband an infusion of ginger and lemon tea when he was starting to develop a cold. Encantada was definitely one of the best Small luxury resorts we have stayed at. Already planning a return trip for our anniversary!

Perfect. Everything about our stay at Encantada was perfect. The only change we would have made was to stay longer. The property is beautiful and the staff truly make it a must stay location. My wife and I loved every minute of our visit and we will certainly return. Justin and Jeanette Shea

We just returned home after staying at Encantada for 3 nights. The hotel and the staff were the highlight of our trip to Tulum. While there are many restaurants and clubs nearby, we ended up having many of our meals at the hotel’s beach deck. The breeze, privacy, view of the ocean and the wonderful staff made us feel it was not worth venturing out much. We had one of the ocean beach upper level rooms (Luna) and it was amazing!!! While it was not ocean front, we still had a wonderful view of the ocean and the palm trees swaying in the wind. The breeze in the balcony is indescribable. The staff at this property are amazing as they are genuinely interested in making your stay a memorable one. If you already made the decision to come to Tulum and want an intimate and papered vacation, do not hesitate and book your room. You won’t regret it.

This was such a great place for relaxing and enjoying Tulum. Right on the beach and not many guests (8 very large rooms). The look and feel of this place is special and makes you feel right at home. The whole team there is so friendly and especially Edi (one of the waiters there) was fantastic. (If anyone from the hotel reads this; please give a big thank you to him) Food and drinks were very tasty. Really enjoyed this wonderful hotel!! I'll definitely be back when I'm in Mexico.

We had a wonderful experience at the Encantada Tulum. Upon arrival we felt we were home. Special thanks to Isabel, she did a great job welcoming us and was very helpful with our reservations for other venues. We will definitely come back in the future.
