The hotel was perfectly situated for the town and the theatre. Room was lovely & the bed & pillows dreamy! Staff were super friendly & helpful.
Unfortunately we didn’t have breakfast as we had arranged to meet friends - but I’m sure it would have been wonderful!

Just two nights stay. We had room only as there are so many very good eateries within a 10 minute walk. An NCP car park is in the street just opposite the hotel - not cheap but very convenient. The HdV itself is fantastically clean, well maintained and quiet and it was a pleasure staying there

I spent 4 nights at the Hotel du Vin in June 2024. I had never been to one of their properties before. Simon checked me in and was very helpful. The rooms are generous and I was very comfortable. All the staff I encountered were very nice and helpful. The location is fabulous for exploring this town, going to a show, or seeing all the Shakespeare sights.

Spotless. Beautiful rooms, welcoming staff. Good value for money, particularly considering the alternatives in Stratford-upon-Avon. Naming the rooms after wine producers, instead of numbers, it is a nice touch given the name of the hotel. Highly recommended.

Second time staying and the hotel du vin in Stratford-upon-Avon. We have always had the best experiences. For this occasion it was the husbands birthday. The team had provided complementary chocolates and a hand written card on arrival. There was a minor mishap with a bottle of fizz but that was sorted straight away. The bar tender at the end of the evening was brilliant, making a delicious old fasion and passion fruit martini. Breakfast was spot on and the room was fantastic, clean, and cozy. ❤️

I really enjoyed Hotel Du Vin in Stratford Upon Avon. The staff were lovely, the hotel very pleasant, clean and quiet. It felt safe due to only being able to access the upper floors with your security card.
I was a bit delayed in getting back for my dinner (9pm) and the staff were very accommodating of this. The breakfast was very tasty and well made. All the staff I interacted with were pleasant and helpful.

Our room had unpleasant smell and the sink in the bathroom was blocked. We reported that but no action was taken and we were not offered a different room. A very limited choice of food for breakfast, no plain yogurt or cheese, undercooked croissants and green bananas. Staff generally cold and uninterested. After reading reviews our expectations were high. Won’t be staying there again.
