Restaurant manger help my child prepared scrambled egg when this is not in the menu for dinner buffet. Nice buffet dinner with wide variety of food and live band performance. Nice ambience.
Able to check in early.
The bed was so comfortable, has big TV which I can screencast. Big swimming pool although the pool floor is not clean. Has proper working desk.
Security ok, as I met the security patrolling on the floor.
I left something in the room when checked out, the staff even WhatsApp me to inform me.
Will definitely come back again.
Highly recommend to everyone. This is more like 5 star in my opinion.
We have enjoyed our stay very much.

FFlying NibbaA very good It was a decent place for a staycation. the room was neat and clean, and the facilities were good as well. There was a wide variety of options at the breakfast area, although one small downside for me was that many of the good dishes were cooked with beef (which I’m allergic to).
Overall, the experience was amazing. The hotel basically has everything you need, and for a one-night stay, the price is very affordable. I paid around RM250 (about SGD 85) for a night. I would highly recommend this place to couples and families who are travelling on a budget.

We recently stayed at Barelang Resort Batam for a family getaway, and it turned out to be one of the most relaxing and kid-friendly trips we’ve had in a while.
🌅 Location & Scenery
The resort sits right by the water near the iconic Barelang Bridge, so the views—especially during sunrise and sunset—are beautiful. It’s quiet, peaceful, and away from the city crowd, making it perfect for families who want to unwind.
🏨 Rooms
The rooms are spacious and clean, and many come with balcony views facing the sea or the pool. Perfect for families with kids who need space to move around. Housekeeping was quick and helpful throughout our stay.

This resort is truly built for families:
• Kids’ pool that’s safe and shallow
• Plenty of open areas for kids to run around
• Family-friendly activities like kayaking and beach access
• Calm and safe environment, especially for young children and elderly

Breakfast had a good variety and was halal-friendly. The restaurant faces the water, which makes mealtimes enjoyable. There are also seafood spots nearby for those who want local flavours.

The infinity pool is the highlight—clean, big, and overlooking the ocean. The whole place feels relaxing and well-maintained. Spa services and recreational areas are also available if you want a slower, pampering day.
🚗 Convenience
The resort is a bit further from Nagoya/center, but Grab is easily available. The peaceful location is worth the extra travel time. Plus, Barelang Bridge and several seaside attractions are nearby.

DDr. ErikI loved Batam View so much! I'll be honest, I wanted to stay at Turi Resort, where I normally stay, but they were fully booked. So I tried Batam View, and I was flabbergasted. I had a room in the main building with sea view, and it was stunning. The rooms have been renovated and are clean, modern, comfortable. The hotel's beach and pool are both amazing, and I was so happy to find a really deep pool (rare in Asia), plus a very clean beach. I had an unforgettable dinner at the beach, too. The staff are universally lovely, attentive and professional! I saw the villas and definitely want to stay there next time! I spent a lovely 6 nights there and cannot wait to return!

TTài khoản kháchOur 2nd time staying here and we booked a total of 4 rooms. All was good except that your breakfast can be improve with more selection like having a egg live station and a porridge section. Bread toaster as well was not working well, waited for 20mins and still the bread is not well toasted. We decided to go over to Golden View Hotel and pay for our breakfast on the 2nd morning.
We had dinner on out first night but was disappointed with your dessert. Both the lava and cheese cake taste like it been kept for weeks, does not taste fresh.

NNgười Dùng Ẩn DanhI had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the hotel is generally clean and the front desk staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. The room itself was tidy and the bathroom was in good condition.
However, we stayed in Room 426 and had a very difficult time sleeping. The bed makes a lot of loud noise every time you turn over, which made it almost impossible to get a good night's rest. If you are looking for quality sleep, I would recommend requesting a different room.
The worst part is I forgot to ask for changing another room😇😇😇

Khi tôi đến vào ngày đầu tiên, tôi đã đến khá sớm để Nhận phòng, do đó tôi đã kiểm tra lại đặt phòng của mình và thực sự đã được thưởng cho việc Nhận phòng sớm theo Cấp Kim cương. Nhân viên lễ tân đã nâng cấp phòng của tôi từ Deluxe lên Executive! Thật tốt khi cô ấy thực sự nghe thấy Yêu cầu của tôi khi đến nơi. Chắc chắn sẽ trở lại trong những đêm dài hơn!

NNgười Dùng Ẩn DanhIHG. Holiday Inn. It seems like this hotel at Batam has been neglected. Many of the amenities are lacking in maintenance. The pool, gym, kids club.....the list goes on. Staff are excellent. But why has the hotel not kept up with maintaining it well when it's such a popular hotel. Covid took havoc world wide. But many hotels have bounced back and are welcoming guests with renewed hope. Hotels needs to constantly upgrade so that guests want to keep coming back.
Slippery walkways, itchy body after sleeping on the bed and toilets that lack are some of the features at Holiday Inn Batam.
Time to see how you can improve your rating. Its a great hotel if you improve on the upkeep.
Never too late to start. Looking forward to coming back in 2026 if there are improvements.
