TTài khoản kháchWe stayed at tons of Marriott properties around Chicago and this was in our top 3. Location is top in the heart of River North, there is another ”super fancy” Residence but at that location all the employees had attitude and it felt really weird. This is the best one. I felt like I could live here, the staff are all really capable, at one point my living room TV wasn't working (someone had plugged it in wrong) and they had a maintenance tech up there in less than 15 minutes. They also called to follow up and make sure I was taken care of, which really impressed me. Free breakfast is very good. The only ”note” I would say is that this is a building where you have to take 2 elevators to reach your rooms, one to the main lobby and then a second to the rooms. The ”close” button is normally in the same place in every elevator but in this one it's the ”Call for Help” button, so I accidentally reached the elevator techs who asked if I was trapped, haha. I ended up doing this a few times, so if you're an ”always press close button” person make sure you find the right button first!

SsknoseyThe free breakfast is not a full buffet but a choice of egg and then usually fried potato and beefburger patty or slices of sausage. the rest was tiny yoghurt and bread for toast, or make your own waffles. there is tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was cereal and porridge but sometimes it is made so thin that its not worth eating.
There is no tea in the room, just coffee. The machine had a disposable tray but they ran out so I used the same one for 9 days for tea and coffee (i got teabags from the breakfast room). Housekeeping never supplied what you asked for first time, or even second. If you want something and ask at 2pm, you will get it if you chase a couple of times afterwards by 9-10pm.
There was also alot of messing about with respect to check out time. I am a member of the loyalty programme which is meant to give you an automatic late checkout. The manager gave it to me but then when I went back to ask about extending it further for a fee, it was clear the other guy behind the counter was on a power trip and the day before started saying I shouldnt have got it and as it was the manager, he wouldnt withdraw it but he could and I should only get an hour and be charged $25/hr after that etc. He was just a mean spiteful man who saw an opportunity to cause worry and distress and he did it. I had luggage to store and it was a late flight so I had to know whether to pack to store it to check out at midday, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (they were messing me about with all times) but this is why I gave a 1 star for service. It is not at all professional but childish and spiteful. I had arranged the extended checkout days before and the day before they were messing me about when I had to pack and had a schedule of things to do? The worst service in any hotel I have ever been in. Hilton is no longer a 5 star experience it seems. 1 star for service.

The room was ok, nothing special for the price. The hotel is in a great neighborhood, and check in was a breeze. The staff was friendly and showed me to my room. However, checkout is stated at 11am. Ten minutes before checkout, the staff was banging at my door rushing me to get out because the next guest was already there.
In all other experiences, when I arrive at a hotel early before check-in, they don’t go rush to kick the guest out of my room before their designated checkout time. I drop my bags off and enjoy whatever place I’m visiting and go to my room later. I don’t see why this was necessary and put a sour end to my stay.

FFan DingI would definitely recommend this place to my friends n family who want to visit Chicago. Great location and the facility is very well maintained and quite valuable for what I’m paying for. Two blocks away from Michigan Avenue and located in the MM area. Public transportation is accessible in all forms.

TTài khoản kháchNous sommes restés une semaine et étions ravis de notre séjour. Notre grande chambre était au 17e étage avec une vue assez sympa. Le coin cuisine est très pratique pour ne pas à avoir à aller au restaurant tout le temps. Le wifi marche très bien. La cuisine est pas très bien équipée mais la réception nous a apporté ce qui nous manquait.
L’hôtel est extrêmement bien située, à distance à pied de tout les hauts sites touristiques. Le prix n’est pas donné pour nous européen mais la clientèle américaine est simple, il y a quelques familles de touristes français.

TTài khoản kháchDuring our recent stay at this hotel, we experienced a range of both positive and negative aspects. We made reservations on New Year’s Eve, marking our first visit to Chicago with my partner and friends.
While we enjoyed the overall experience, we found the hotel to be more expensive than in the downtown area. The parking fees were particularly exorbitant, and the open space parking lot raised concerns about safety. Additionally, we noticed a discrepancy between the number of towels and cups provided in the room and the number specified on our reservation. Despite promptly contacting the hotel upon arrival, we were still short of towels and cups for two days.
Despite these issues, we acknowledge that the stay itself was pleasant.
