Kkemigisha K brendahThe hotel is just strategically positioned, close to the airport and downtown. it is just in the middle. Breakfast is good and there are a variety of options.
The Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, are very spacious and items are replenished daily. Staff are welcoming and very ready to help at any time. The area is quite too though the facility is on a busy street. I would recommend everyone I know to stay at this hotel whenever they visit Ottawa.

TTài khoản kháchEverything was great specifically the girl at the front desk was awesome, she helped us when we had a problem with the door lock of our room, we tried everything but could not open it I guess the battery was dead. She was very helpful, whenever I would visit Ottawa I would definitely like to stay at the same hotel. Her name is Navneet I want to give her 10 stars, thanks Navneet.

BBarryWooRoom cleanliness and air conditioning were good. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was simple but good in quality. However the breakfast queue was long and food replenishment was not done in pace with the flow, ended up in a long queue not moving as people stayed in the front of the queue stayed in the queue waiting for replenishment. The dinning space was insufficient that could not accommodate the big crowd.
We ran into issue setting up the sofa bed. Calling the front desk asking for assistance we were stunned by a reply saying they would not send staff to help but urging us to try for another attempts and kept reassuring us the sofa bed operation was simple and easy. Finally we got that sorted out with help from other hotel customers..
A major disappointment that totally ruined my experience with the hotel was the way my enquiry was handled towards an unknown charge after I checked out.
In the check out bill, it was just a charge billed to my credit card without indicating what service or item I was billed for. While my family did not order or buy anything at all from the hotel and we were in a rush, I did not check the bill upon check out until 5 days later I saw it in my credit card account. I sent an email to the hotel reservation (that was the only email channel I found from the hotel home page) to enquire about the charge and no reply was received ever towards my enquiry and that's what I was hit. Although the unknown charge was refunded after another week, I did not feel good with the way they work. I frankly accept mistakes made by the front desk or the account team for incorrect bill, but I do not accept ignorance and zero communication from the backend on my enquiry. This is something the hotel should improve.

BBokkie TruongA very stylish and modern apartment block. Check-in and room access by codes. Our studio apartment was comfortable, kitchen well equipped and the bath/shower very clean.The gym downstairs is good and well maintained. Location is good and close to the Parliament Hill area. Only ”negative” is that window doesn't open so no fresh air gets in.

HHanfordPros: a parking lot with sufficient space (no need to book in advance). A shopping mall St Laurent is nearby. The breakfast is ok. There are 2 sockets and 2 USB-A outlet on each side of the bed. The staff are friendly in general.
Cons: A bit far away from the tourist attractions downtown (around 10 minutes drive). The coffee from the in-room coffee machine was so-so. The air-conditioner was quite noisy. The TV in my room couldn't be turned off (It went off automatically after no-signal for a while anyway). There were some paper cups for coffee but no other glass / cups in the whole room even for brushing teeth so I had to use paper cups for brushing teeth (Is it considered environmental friendly?)

I stayed 4 nights while visiting family in the area. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The bed very comfortable, there were functions happening on the main floor during the weekend night but in the 5th floor room I stayed In all was quiet. The hotel is close to many small food choices & coffee shops in the neighborhood along with a supermarket next door.
about 25 mins to airport and 25 mins to downtown Ottawa . Coffee always hot in the lobby . I will certainly stay there again.

AAlicia York-BirdI expected more from Glö than I received. I chose Glö as a ”treat” for a couple's getaway, as it was a newer hotel and appeared like it would be snazzier than the usual fare.
Pros: The bathroom was very nice, and the complimentary toiletries are top notch. The rooms are very clean. The mattress was very comfortable and the TV was a decent size.
Cons: The rooms are incredibly small, and while they are nicely furnished, the tiny ”couch” seat was more form than function (i.e. prettier than it was comfortable). The front desk staff seemed very new and clueless on basic hospitality essentials, like how to work the in-room television. It also took ages for a response from front desk on how to work the TV and the issue wasn't even resolved.
I probably will not stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone I know, as there are so many hotels to choose from in Kanata that offer better, more knowledgeable service and better pricing.
