Lovely hotel on the peninsula. Very quiet location with 2 relaxing pools. Perfect for a peaceful break away with a bit of luxury.

Beyond expectations with impeccable service. The sense of quality and friendly professional service was evident from the moment we arrived at D Resort. The inviting lobby was homely and featured many unique furnishings and construction design that drew our attention. Staff upon checkin were well presented, spoke great English and had a genuine friendly professional approach, this carried all the way into the room with a follow up call to check if everything was OK. Our group dined at the top floor restaurant and were pleasantly surprised with the level of service and the waiters deep level of knowledge about the wines and dishes on the menu. Many of our group ordered steak and although the quality was disappointing the preparation and presentation was perfect. D Resort facilities were very nice with a spectacular outdoor infinity pool, cabanas, fitness area and wonderful views across the ocean. Rooms are large and spacious with good quality fittings and furniture and large TV with some english News channels. I enjoyed a nice walk around the local area that featured a clean modern marina, restaurant, small supermarket, shipyard and residential area. Could not fault D Resort and would highly recommend to any visitors in the region.

The room is super good, big and clean. the bathtub is good and they provided bath foam as well. However, the breakfast is just so so

This is indeed a beautiful hotel in a beautiful place. The staff are lovely. The rooms are large and clean and very modern. The breakfast is well presented and a very good selection. The bread is amazing. But, if this is your first time on holiday with a new partner there’s not much privacy in the bathroom area part of it is open to the bedroom. There’s no dressing table and the hooks in the bathroom are a bit high up for me as I am not very tall! We were on the Šibenik side of the hotel and it didn’t,t get any sun so meant you had to leave your room if you wanted to sit in the sun. You can get a bus into Šibenik there’s one an hour and we found it reliable. It’s nearly a miles walk to the bus stop. Taxis ranged from €8 to €10 the bus is €1.50 each way. You can walk to town but it is a long way. We asked several times about water taxi and it was never available. The toilets to the outside swimming pool were locked. The menu in the restaurant didn’t change and the food was a bit hit and miss. There is a very nice restaurant at the end of the harbour that is reasonable and a lovely walk past all the beautiful yachts. Our main complaint is that you can’t just walk out the hotel and find a restaurant and we felt that the hotel was soulless. Overall we don’t regret our visit as we had a lovely time but feel it’s aimed more at people who come for a rest and solitude than for someone wishing to explore and have fun.

We stayed in a modern villa on the resort, which was perfect. The villa was well-equipped, the hotel was clean, staff were friendly and professional, and the food was superb. Its location was beautiful and convenient for exploring Šibenik old town, Krka Falls & Kornati Islands. Highly recommended

Amazing hotel with an amazing pool at an amazing location - away from crowds. But, a short boat ride (8 euros per person) or an Uber ride (about 8 euros) and you are in Šibenik. Spa is free to use and massages/facials are very reasonably priced. People at hotel are super nice and helpful. They will even park your car for you and bring it out when you need it. Especially helpful was Assistant Front Desk Manager Dubravko Zivkovic. We briefly mentioned to him that we were celebrating our anniversary and when we came back from dinner, there were a bottle of sparkling wine and Happy Anniversary cake waiting for us in our room. What a nice touch!!!

We stayed in the presidential suite with our 2yo and 4yo for 12days. It was exceptional. We had car hire for the entire trip and would say the trip with kids would be impossible/extremely difficult without it. We managed to visit: Split Trogir (a must) Primosten (a must) Prvic Zlarin Zadar Sibenik old town Krapanj (We didn’t do Krka as in 30-35degree heat it would have been too much with the kids - hotel her sensible to advise this) These trips required a half day in general and left us with plenty of down time using the fantastic hotel facilities. The heated pool with the children’s paddling pool adjacent is best suited for families and the other pool on the marina is better for couples/friends. Clara at the kids club really looked after us and the kids - we used to escape to her air conditioned/shaded retreat to escape the sun and for some down time. We laughed over games of Uno and she took the pressure off childcare. We actually enjoyed spending time worth Clara but wouldn’t hesitate leaving our kids with her. There is a laundrette on the Marina which would do a service wash and dry (same day) for me for €14 - this was for a large wash of a weeks worth of clothes for 4 people’s clothes. The room was spacious and light with breath taking views from all 5 balconies. I won’t forget the sunsets and waking up to the beautiful scenery. The best part of this non fussy, friendly hotel was the staff. They genuinely seemed happy with their job and had been here a while so they themselves felt like they were apart of a family/community. I would totally recommend this hotel for anyone who is confident hiring a car or willing to pay for taxis as there is so much to see and do. You may get bored if you plant yourself in the hotel for more than a couple of days. Finally I can not forget Nico - our fantastic skipper - we looked after us on our trips to Prvic and Zlarin. I hate choppy waters and worry with kids..but Nico took all the worry away.

Really beautiful Modern hotel with a 45 minute transfer time from Split airport. Situated on its own peninsula with a harbour along one side. Great breakfast choice and food in the restaurant. Drinks more expensive than in Šibenik. Receptions English language was limited and the arrival explanation of the hotel amenities was poor. We found out more from other guests at the hotel. Staff are very helpful and polite. International clientele. Transfer from the hotel to Šibenik by water taxi was available at €8 / person each way (very nice way to arrive but a bit expensive if used all the time) or Taxi at around €10 / 13 price each way but that’s for 4 people in our case. As the hotel is remote from Šibenik a 45 - 50 minute walk 10 minute taxi ride we felt the hotel should be operating a shuttle bus. We were told this is something they are looking at in the upcoming future. Hotel internet is complete pants so don’t rely on it, especially if you need to do any work. There is a computer suit in the reception area if required. Šibenik old town is beautiful, we did the 3 forts and cathedral on one day, so subsequent visits was for shopping and mainly food. The restaurants we used were all excellent, Number 4 being our favourite. You can understand why cruise ships only stay a day, as you can visit all the places of interest within this time. There are plenty of villages / places to visit along the coast and the national park waterfalls are a 45 minute taxi transfer away and well worth a visit. Split 1 hour away by taxi. Overall a loverly plan to visit and a recommended hotel, enjoy !

Everything about this hotel oozes class. Visually the hotel is stunning and the rooms modern. There are also some fantastic views, either the marina or Sibenik itself. If you manage to get the marina side you will find yourself dreaming about one day chartering one of the super yachts parked up. Everyone at the hotel are very friendly and attentive. It is a little pricey but not much more than some of the eateries in Sibenik. The spa and outdoor infinity pools are first class, not once did we struggle to find a sun bed! All in all a fantastic stay at a hotel worthy of 5* accolades. Will be back again soon...

Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfy & clean, a good size with great amenities. The hotel is a short distance from town centre, however we hired a car and intended to travel around, so it was a great location for us to explore various other towns near by. However, at the hotel and in Šibenik, there is under ground 'garage' parking, which is brilliant on a hot day, kept the car cool! The restaurant was great, lovely selection at breakfast. However we were not told how it all worked on day, we were left to figure it out for ourselves, only discovered on our last day that omelettes could be made to order. The spa is small but good to use, treatments are very expensive. We visited the outdoor pool which was lovely. We found there was a general lack of information of the hotel facilities. About 4 days into our weeks stay, we were left a card in the room with a QR code on, which gave us access to all the hotel info. This would have been helpful to have at the beginning. Would recommend this hotel & would definitely look to return. Thanks for a great stay x

Driving back to Zagreb from Dubrovnik and wanted to visit national park so this was an obvious place to stay. Did not get to explore the old town as the drive took longer than expected. Got to the hotel at sunset. was pretty but blocked by nearby land (island?). The hotel was fantastic in every manner. Beautiful design. Hotel actually designed to resemble a ship. Plenty of free parking inside and outside. Greeted warmly and with nice cold drink (free). Room very comfortable, quiet, and large. Decided not to eat on site (our choice, as the menu looked quite nice). Lovely breakfast buffet. Easy to get to hotel and easy to leave. Quite reasonable price as well. Only negative (for us) was pool/hot tub required going outside and walking short distance. Opted for nice warm bath in spacious tub instead. Has a bar inside and outside and lovely pool. Definitely recommend. Old town is a short car ride away. Also has a marina on site (not sure if you can rent or not).
