Brilliant service from talented multi-lingual staff. Clean beach with all areas including pools and grounds well maintained. Food and drink more than plentiful.

This is the best resort I have ever stayed in. All the staff go above and beyond to meet all your needs. The resort is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Most staff can speak English and the ones that can't still help regardless. There is a lot of food choice, not the same everyday. The quality of the food and the care they take in presenting shows how much effort has been put into making your experience the best possible. Stayed in a Superior Queen room with a garden view, the room was very spacious and very comfortable. The garden and all areas around the resort are beautifully maintained. Plenty of activites going on daily, there is something for everyone. Staff don't expect a tip but when given they accept humbily. You receive the same attention whether you tip or not. I would highly recommend the resort to anyone looking for some winter sun and a place to relax and re-charge.

A fantastic hotel with superb staff and food. Nothing is any trouble. It's handy to have a pen & a photograph of your passports on your phone/tablet, the details are needed to complete the Egypt landing cards, these are usually handed out on the flight an hour or so before landing. No visa charge is payable unless your travelling out of Sharm or staying more than 15 days! USA dollars are best value for Visas because its £25, $25 or €25. We used Sharm Travel Club private transfers £20 return, they are even cheaper if booked via *********** The food is plentiful and of a variety that you won't struggle to find something you like, Salads, Veg food, and sound, burgers, meats, all served piping hot and cooked as you like by the many chefs. Bottled water is replenished daily in your room, along with quality tea bags and Nescafe coffee satchets. There is a kettle in the room and hairdryer affixed to the wall in the bathroom. There is a free lockable safe in your wardrobe. Along with a limited amount of hangers, I usually take 6 more hangers. USA $1 notes are best for tips as coins are accepted but are a pain for the staff to exchange. The room TV is good with a few English channels and the WiFi is good throughout. The main bar closes at midnight and the nightly entertainment finishes around 11pm so there is no problem with noise, the late pub bar down by the beach is open til around 1am and I think aloholic drinks are chargeable after midnight. Special thank you to Mr Ali the hotel manager & the immaculate Mr Yousef guest relations who are always about to help with anything. Mr Osama, Mr Sayed & Mr Sameh who run the bars and restaurants, they ensure your plates are full and your glass never empty. The local Stella draft beer is fine as are the local Gin and other spirits, nothing to stop you buying a bottle of your favourite tipple at duty free and have it on hand in your room if needed to add abit more flavour! Mr Ahmed runs the fabulous reception team and if you need anything from local knowledge or advice they can assist with taxis ect, thanks Mr Farouk. Lastly our room was kept tip top by Mr Mohammed, fun daily towel shapes and all amenities replenished without fuss and always a smile. Thank you everyone and see you all again soon. Stay safe.

Prior to our trip, I emailed the hotel. We had changed from 11 days to 3 weeks. This meant we would be there for my husband's birthday. I asked if it would be possible to have a sea/pool view room and in a quiet area. We were allocated a ground floor room overlooking the pool which was superb and at no extra cost. Room 3103. The room was a twin bedded room but soon pushed together and made into a double by the excellent house keeping team. The bathroom and shower were spacious and the only complaint was the wardrobe doors. They weren't on the runners and I did have to fight with them every day to get at clothes. This I could have addressed and I'm sure would have been swiftly rectified, but I just never got around to it. We'd heard about the mosquitoes problem and plug-ins were put in our room with refills on the side table as and when needed. We had no issues in that room and were only bitten a couple times throughout the three week stay. The mini bar is chargeable so like other guests, we removed the many items and stacked them in the wardrobe and put our own drinks in the fridge, which was no problem. In regard to sunbed reserving and getting up at silly o'clock, this I didn't find an issue IF you stayed on that sunbed throughout the day. Like me, many were up early and yes we were in the sea early and towels on the sunbeds. We'd go for breakfast and then spent the day at the lovely beach. The only issue I have with sunbed reserving is when people do this and then go off for the day shopping OR reserve beds around the pool and at the beach for when the sun has gone from the pool area. This is totally unacceptable. There are two restaurants and YES men have to wear trousers in the evening. The restaurants are air conditioned so for us this really wasn't as issue. The top main restaurant does get rather busy at times so we always ate at the bottom restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner as it was much smaller and friendlier and both appeared to offer the same food. There is also the snack bar for freshly cooked food. The two a la cartes are bookable and it appeared you can go as many times as you liked. We weren't a fan of the Ali Baba but the Italian was lovely and we used it twice. On the day of my husbands birthday, they couldn't do enough. Flowers with singing and clapping at the beach, cake in the room and table decorations in the evening. They really do like to spoil you. Like many, there were lots of tummy bugs. I'm not sure this is down to poor hygiene but maybe the heat. Although we have been to Hurghada numerous times, I didn't expect Sharm to be as hot as it is and when we got an on-shore wind, the heat was relentless. Mint tea is a wonderful remedy and soon sorted my husband's tummy bug out. The hotel is situated right opposite the Old Town and what an amazing place. We stayed from the 16th May for two weeks stayed in room 2215 we were disappointed to find the hotel wasn’t as good as November last year which we thoroughly enjoyed hence the return visit the new beach bar and food are very nice the lower pool area around the sunbeds/umbrellas was only cleaned once during our stay we feel the buffet restaurant food isn’t as good as last visit the singers on the terrace finished at 10pm last visit it was 11pm finish which ended the evening rather early the hotel offers a pub at the beach The shows in the theatre were good but the entertainment team lack organisation There’s a good pharmacy available in the hotel also shops

We have just spent the most wonderful two weeks at this hotel. The hotel is superb and the staff were excellent. Our room cleaner was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for him. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. The reception staff were always very courteous, jovial and very very helpful. The choice of restaurants varied and the food served in each of these restaurants was excellent. We used the Blue Marine for most of the time, and I must thank Sammy and Emad and their team for ensuring our dining experience will be unforgettable. The pool bar was run by Mohamed Ali, and he was absolutely phenomenal. He ensured that drinks were delivered to all guests around the pool very regularly. He is an asset to this hotel (Photo Of him attached). I must also thank Ayman and his team for ensuring that our experience around the pool will be unforgettable. He is an outstanding manager, because he ensured the pool area and the beach was kept clean and tidy all day. Nothing was to much effort for him ( photo attached) I must also mention Youssef the Customer Relations Manager. Absolutely the most effective and efficient CRM that I have experienced in all our holidays abroad. He was outstanding, thank you Youssef 😊. We had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of the GM and EAM. Both of them impressed us with their attention to detail, their politeness and they always have time for the guests. We had two weeks at ibortel palace and the hotel was fantastic the staff could not do enough for you , we was a bit disappointed by the entrainment and other then by the door to the restaurant at night we didn’t see the entrainment staff until our last two days , the beach bar was brilliant food freshly cooked and nice food , the main restaurants were ok I personally struggled a bit to find something at times and ate a lot of chips over the two weeks . We need to give a shout out to the staff from Mohammed bringing drinks throughout the day always a smile on his face , and all the other staff that work so hard , our room was ground floor and in perfect place for us . The only real grumble was we paid for late check out and on our last day we had five workmen in our room and couldn’t get in there for an hour and half we was sitting watching from our subbed then I went and asked how much longer and they said 10 mins which was more like 20 when I mentioned this at checkout I was told it was only 10 mins which was annoying but overall we had a fantastic time and the weather helped the hotel always looked clean

We returned from our third visit in May , so clearly we liked this hotel or would not have been returning, however since new Manager took over there were many changes and we felt standards had dropped considerably since our first visit . Arrival. We arrived as restaurants were closing , before there had been a platter of food in rooms, with bottle of wine and fruit this time there was nothing to eat , we got crisps from bar. Sunbed Mattresses. Mattresses had been replaced from last visit with nice comfy ones , asked for Mattresses on beach around 8am , told they had all gone and offered old gym mats , to me every guest should be treated the same and they should have enough for all guests . Food . Standard has dropped and cheaper options offered eg Beef Wellington was not made with fillet , was tough and chewy unless you went early evening the food was often cold and inedible . Entertainment. Animation team very young with no direction, singer on terrace supposed to do two 45 minutes sets , never did took half hour break then would do another 30 minutes tops. Entertainment finished at 10 pm , then the most awful looped jazz music previously you could then go to Borsalino pub where there was another singer until 11.30 pm , small inviting tables no longer outside pub looked as if they didn't want you there. Asked who wanted to do karaoke one night , then after 1 hour said it was too late to carry on to people who had wanted to sing, that was a shame as bought all nationalities together. Staff as always brilliant and did all they could , but as leaving Manager came round asking if we had enjoyed our holiday , I was honest and told him not as good as as previous holidays and he did not even ask why it what issues were, three other couples told him the same and just not interested. Such a shame as we really loved this hotel and the staff but no longer value for money , management not interested as they now have other nationalities there, felt like loyal guests didn't matter anymore

Just returned from the Iberotel Palace this week after 11 nights. We are return visitors, but this time we have enjoyed our holiday even more ! We love the new beach bar, which serves freshly cooked food to order, there is a multitude of drinks/beverages to be had. The service was efficient, polite and friendly. Our room was spacious with good air conditioning and was cleaned to a high standard. Beach towels delivered every evening. We ate at both of the al a carte restaurants whilst we were there. Toscana (Italian) and Ali Baba (Egytion/Grill). The food and service was excellent from the whole team and managed by the wonderful Sayed. Our time there was so relaxing and this is down to All of the wonderful staff at this hotel. Youseff (client services manager) is high profile and makes himself available to his guests throughout the day. He is the most wonderful person and cares. We met several of the management team who were all committed to ensuring you have the best holiday possible. So, I am now looking to book a return visit in October/ November.
