Not only elegant, but very elegant. The whole place has a beautiful atmosphere and everything is perfect, rooms, food, location, staff, outdoor area. We loved it.

A simply wonderful base from which to visit the Sossusvlei and its surrounds. We received a very warm welcome and were extremely well looked after by the great team of staff - though a special call-out to Agnes, my birthday 'sister' who made me a delicious birthday cake 😍; wonderfully confortable rooms with their own 'stoep'; really delucioys food; a most welcome pool; terrific-looking camping sites too which we would be most interested in checking out in the future.

I would say this place is mediocre at best. Facilities are tired, website pictures do not reflect the reality. Food is adequate but nothing special. Reception staff were friendly. We stayed in the campsite which is pretty bleak. Views of the staff quarters. Ablutions were OK but not great.

Considering that you are staying in the middle of the desert, it was beyond my expectations. It was close to the national park, they served good dinner, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were happy and we would go again. On the negative side, rooms are getting bit outdated, specially the facilities in the bathroom but again you are in the middle of desert so you do not care about it.

Awesome place, well situated, wonderful helpful staff, and the rooms are great! Difficult to find fault, except maybe the food is a bit disappointing for the price, but would definitely recommend and re-visit.

2 nights. good check-in; comfortable, clean room; lights were turned on and bed and mosquito nets “prepared” every night; found the “short bedtime story” on the bed a nice touch; set menu for dinner. well maintained garden. An inquisitive jackal visited the premises every day but didn't come too near. Enjoyable stay. Wlan available

Very good food, rooms, location, swimming pool, excellent staff and a sky where you can see all the stars at night. The animals and view from Elegant Desert Camp are also fantastic and a must visit...
