("vive primeiro, pública depois") Hotel Lusitânia Congress and Spa Guarda, Portugal Março 2024 Já era tarde e não tínhamos estadia para a noite. Contactei via telefone o hotel que logo se mostraram muito disponiveis e simpáticos. Corresponderam a nossa expectativa e quando disse que ainda íamos jantar e só depois faríamos o check in (tarde, pois já era fora de horas) tb nos disseram que tinham restaurante e que-mesmo fora de horas- ainda conseguimos jantar lá caso desejássemos. Adoramos, desde o que comemos á forma como fomos tratados. Estávamos cansados e um jantar fantástico sem ter de esperar (era buffet) ,com comida de excelência (mesmo), e o conforto do hotel e quarto que nos foi atribuído foi tudo o que precisávamos... As condições, limpeza e opções de servicos do hotel... Tínhamos serviços disponíveis que não usamos sequer (tipo spa), mas voltaremos para desfrutar. Super recomendo.

Organizamos uma passagem de ano no hotel e serviço de quarto , recepção, música tudo ótimo. O serviço de buffrr deixou muito a desejar. Serviço atrasodo comida fria e toda gente a reclamar na mesa. Nao Índico

Big party in the hall until 11:40pm with music very loud, I complained but they did nothing. The heating was too strong so I had to keep open the windows in winter.

We had a stop at this hotel on our drive through and were very pleased we did! Reception staff were pleasant and efficient, our room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. We spent a couple of hours at the pool reading our books and swimming, very nice. In the evening we had dinner in the bar area and our fabulous barman, Americo, took care of us wonderfully. The food was really very good, breakfast also.

Good location, restaurant good. Cannot fault it

Very friendly staff. We ate at the hotel both nights of our stay and the 3 course menu was excellent value at 15 euros, with soup or salad to start, meat or fish main course and a choice of desserts. The room itself was a good size but fixtures and fittings were a bit tired and dated with a tan and orange theme. There were some small holes in the inner curtains, and these curtains were falling off the fittings at one end. The bedding and towels, however, were spotless and the bed was comfortable. The location is a short drive from town (11 minutes) and there is a good park for jogging a 5 minute drive away. Overall a quiet location and a good value hotel.

This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. It's in a good location, close to both the motorway and the city. There are a few bakeries, cafés and restaurants within walking distance. There's ample parking, too. When I arrived, they didn't even mention the spa, which is a bit weird. I'd been driving for about 3 days, so would quite happily have used it, but there was no info at reception and none in the room. The staff at the bar and restaurant were fantastic throughout and able to make great recommendations. Food and drink options at breakfast and dinner, as well as bar snacks, were excellent. The room was ok. Spacious, but a bit on the old side. I don't mind that generally, but the mattress was VERY soft, so not great for back health and the aircon was that old centrally connected kind which is simultaneously really noisy and totally ineffective at cooling the room. I ended up propping the balcony door open with a cushion, so as not to bake. There was lots of signage about being eco friendly, but the eco button had been removed from the toilet.

Second time staying in this smart but friendly hotel. Very comfortable and a great restaurant with lovely staff.

Very nice hotel and a wonderful stay. All was ok and the breakfast was very really good. I would recommend it for anyone that would like to visit Guarda city. Pitty about the weather that didn’t allow us to use the swimming pool. Maybe next time it will be possible. Thanks
