Been here twice and was very impressed. Used to be the old Loews hotel which was dated and in dire need of a redo. The new owners spared no expense and the quality can be seen. From the coffee shop up front which is on par for coffee in the area, the staff greeting you on the way in (Fernando) and the wonderful restaurant staff. (Shannon and Kitty). The restaurants breakfast was similar to the coffee shop on par with other places in the area but felt that the quality of food and service is above many in the area along with an excellent view. I recommend sitting outside to enjoy! The dinner was great as well mostly got appetizers and a small main which was great. Prices are a bit above elevated but it’s on par for the restaurants on ocean and again you get quality service and food. For breakfast the breakfast platter is a good way to taste a few things and then for the dinner the bread service, a drink, appetizer and a main should be enough. Will be a regular here and would recommend it to others.

The hotel lobby looks very elegant and many restaurants are available .Everything is more classy than before and they now have a nice boutique and coffee shop !I love the ocean view in the lobby area and just sitting in the Lobby with friends !

We found out upon arrival that they would be closing and some services not available. Staff were disinterested which is understandable. Sad to see Not sure what the plan is with hotel so can imagine being back

Always wanted to stay at Loews, Santa Monica. Everything exceeded our expectations to the fullest. Friendly staff everywhere we looked!! Thank you Jaime in the restaurant to the parking garage attendants you guys were great!!!

Stayed in a bunch of hotels in Santa Monica for work and Loews has become my go-to and here's why. Great location right on the beach with most rooms having ocean view. Walking distance to tons of good restaurants. Easily accessible from airport and freeways. Great staff, good service, nicely appointed rooms with little touches like robes and noise machines. Great pool area even if you don't swim and it's great to enjoy coffee at a fire pit in the pool area overlooking the ocean and pier. Nice stay, will be back.

When you travel, you tend to know exactly what you are getting with an on-site restaurant. This was not the case with Blue Streak. The staff was fantastic and at first look the menu seemed a little pricey, but the quality of the food was amazing and well worth every cent.

After a booking mix up, Xiomara helped me get a more beautiful room for my mom to enjoy for this special weekend! It took at least an hour to arrange, because the rest of the hotel was all booked out for three different conferences. Xiomara was so kind, accommodating, friendly, and extremely helpful. I feel so lucky that she was my contact at the hotel this evening!

The hotel has a great location with fantastic views from the ocean front rooms. The pool, spa and change rooms are exceptional with plenty of useful toiletries. The service was of a high level and staff were generally friendly and accommodating.
