Hotel Sao Jose

We went in February. The hotel is in the center, so, it was easy to get to different places, very nice people, very good stay.

keep away and attention to your things, da evitare se proprio non c'è di meglio, posizione comoda in centro ma vi sono altre scomodità, poi ogni tanto ci si perde qualcosa, la colazione è appena accettabile, la pulizia lasciamo stare, il bagno no comment.

Just 100m from Bolhao metro station and rua Santa Catarina (main pedestrian street of Porto). Check in was fast ,room was big with two single beds as we asked.Bathroom also big with bath tub. Big tv and good WiFi also. We didn’t have any noise problem as we read in other reviews. Because we had to go to the train station early in the morning,reception arranged a taxi. Overall it was a great bargain!!!

Good location across from Shrine. Room comfortable and was well lit but few outlets for charging. No coffee maker in the room or lobby. Needs several more elevators. Modest lobby. Buffet breakfast very good, but limited coffee dispensers.

A modern looking hotel 90 seconds from the great pedestrianised St Catarina shopping street plus indoor shopping centre with a huge supermarket in the basement. The Balhao metro station is right on that corner so getting to the airport was so simple and quick. I had a large group of noisy teenage school students literally next door and all around me so l asked to be moved to a quiet room. The lovely night manager gave me a room on the 3rd floor which was perfection with views across a back garden. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. My room had a beautiful old wooden bed with comfortable mattress and the room had olive green walls and wardrobe with brass handles. I thought l was in a very old hotel. Pure charm!

Hotel old and there’s unpleasant smell in the room. I’ve checked in and paid, after that come to the room and realized that can’t sleep in this place. Noisy road nearby. I’ve tried to refund my money from January, but still didn’t get it. Be careful with your money and time, that’s unpleasant and unfair place.

El hotel tiene lo necesario para una buena estancia en Oporto. Lo mejor: -Ubicación: Está junto a Santa Catarina, calle llena de tiendas, bares y comercios. En 10-15 minutos andando se llega perfectamente al centro de Oporto y a casi cualquiera de sus principales monumentos. A pesar de ser céntrico, por la noche la calle no es ruidosa. Tiene cerca paradas de metro y bus de todos modos. También es fácil aparcar en las calles aledañas al hotel si vas en coche (aunque de 9:00 a 19:00 hay zona azul) Lo más estándar: -Servicios: El hotel dejaba un poco que desear en cuanto a los servicios que ofrecía. En el baño de la habitación apenas ponían gel en el lavabo ni papel higiénico. El buffet del desayuno también era bastante justito: pan, chacina básica y cereales. No había apenas variedad de zumos, bollería, huevos...platos que sí suelen estar en los buffets de hoteles de ciudades turísticas. Eso sí, pastelitos de nata tenían por un tubo. Tampoco aconsejo para nada contar con el parking del hotel: se anuncian como hotel con parking, un pequeño habitáculo subterráneo, con pocas plazas y en el que es muy difícil entrar si el coche es más o menos grande. Lo peor: -Mobiliario de las habitaciones: la primera impresión de la habitación fue más bien negativa. Los cabeceros de las camas, los armarios, los estantes...parecían sacados de hace siglos, todo un poco tenebroso y oscuro. Tampoco había enchufe cerca de las camas a no ser que desconectaras el teléfono de la habitación. Aun así, la habitación era cómoda para pasar varias noches y la cercanía al centro hace que la balanza sea positiva y que el hotel sea recomendable.

L'hotel si trova 2 minuti a piedi dalla fermata Metro di Bolhao, la posizione è davvero ottima, permette di girare la città in tutta comodità. La stanza era pulita, bagno ampio unica pecca l'asciugacapelli della mia stanza era guasto, in reception mi è stato fornito uno in sostituzione.

Hôtel bien situé, à côté de la rue principale (Santa Catarina) commerçante et animée... accueil bien...mais..déco vieillotte... mobilier à revoir....confort literie moyen....parking proposé sur site mais attention car selon type de voiture pour nous BMW X 1.. déconseillé par hôtelier car trop petit....et vous propose un parking du centre commercial à côté sois disant au prix de 11€/jour...sauf que ...avons payé 32€ pour 17h n'avons pas testé le petit dej donc pas d'avis.
