Decent hotel within the city wall. Wen, the front desk staff was very friendly. Arrived at 8pm, it was raining and Wen offered to pick me up from Pingyao railway station free of charge.

Stayed for four nights. The location is excellent—right in the middle of the ancient city, just a short walk from the main streets. The hospitality here was exceptional. Before we even arrived, the hosts were responsive and helpful in answering our questions. When we reached Pingyao at night, they personally met us at the county gate (since cars cannot enter the old town), carried our heavy luggage, and guided us to the inn. They did the same when we left, ensuring a smooth departure. We don’t speak Chinese. The hosts didn’t speak English, but their patience and willingness to help went far beyond our expectations. They never turned down a single request and always went the extra mile. For example, when we simply asked for directions, they didn’t just explain but personally took us there. On the day we left, they arranged three people and two vehicles—one just for our luggage and another for us—to take us to the train station. Their kindness extended beyond service. When we first arrived, they took the time to carefully write and translate each instruction, explaining how to visit various attractions in the ancient city. As a farewell gift, they even gave us two bottles of homemade vinegar. Their parting words, "We’ll be waiting for you in Pingyao," left us truly overwhelmed with gratitude. Highly recommend this place!

This place has been where I have been treated the best in all of China. The service is magnificent, 10/10. The owner is extremely kind, super friendly, and tries to help you even with the smallest things. He picked me up and took me to the train station. The rooms are perfect, clean, with heating and hot water. This is definitely my go-to place in Pingyao. I'm leaving very happy.

The sweet hotel owner deserves 6 stars out of 5. I’ve never experienced such good service. He was very helpful with transportation from/to the train station despite train delays. He provided me with a map and insights into how to best explore Pingyao. The hotel is rustic - but that is part of the experience staying in an ancient city. There was heating so staying in January was not a problem. I would recommend this to anyone coming to Pingyao, just to experience genuine hospitality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The owners are really friendly and approachable. While the facilities may not be great, you are paying for the hospitality as the owner was always contactable ans ready to help.

The owner who takes care of this place is very enthusiastic and helpful. The room is nice and satisfactory. Everything is all that I expect for the price. 房主很熱情並推薦所有你不應該錯過的景點。房間裏的條件也滿意的。性價比高。如果有機會，我肯定再來入住。

非常nice，縣衙邊上，鬧中取靜！

Nous arrivons à l'hôtel, celui ci est vide, nous devons solliciter les voisins pour contacter l'établissement. Il était 13h et le gérant dormait. On arrive dans notre chambre qui est très sale. Les espaces communs, la cour, les escaliers, tout est sale aussi. Dans notre chambre, il y a qu'une seule serviette malgré une réservation deux personnes. Le verrou ne fonctionne pas. Le gérant sait pas quoi faire, ne prend aucune initiative alors on lui demande si c'est possible de réparer. La nuit est calme, mais ce n'est pas parce qu'il y a une bonne isolation, non celle ci est déplorable, mais c'est parce que il y a aucun client. En même temps vu l'hôtel et son gérant.. Le lendemain on s'aperçoit que la douche fuit et impossible de prendre sa douche. On sollicite le gérant qu'on doit réveiller dans sa chambre (il est midi). Il rentre dans la chambre avec ses chaussures met de la poussière partout, marche sur notre tapis de bain, puis dans la douche au sol mouillé, répare la douche, marche avec ses chaussures mouillées dans la chambre et repart. On doit à nouveau le solliciter car pour lui son travail etait terminé. On a du revenir 3 fois vers lui pour avoir un coup de ménage de fait, et un tapis de bain propre. En rentrant apres s'être absenté, il nous assure que le ménage a été fait, mais dès l'entrée on aperçoit des traces de pas poussiéreuses. Il prend une serpillière, la trempe dans un seau d'eau noir qui traîne dans la cour depuis au moins la veille où on est arrivés, et passe littéralement 30 sec dans la chambre et nous invite à aller voir son chef d'œuvre. Evidemment c'etait encore sale mais on a bien compris qu'on aurait pas mieux alors on a laissé tomber. Un gérant malhonnête, flemmard, qui passe son temps sur son téléphone à enchaîner les clopes qui n'a aucun client mais pourtant semble toujours débordé.

孩子想體驗炕的感覺，於是在攜程綜合考慮後選擇了這家，店老闆以及店內其他三個人都很熱情友善，在高鐵站接我們，還指導如何遊覽平遙古城線路圖，對我這個路痴幫助很大。 推薦的德天厚飯店經濟實惠，關鍵好服務很棒，關鍵菜品味道棒棒噠！ 客棧位置正處古城主幹道，門口就是縣衙，出門左拐就是最熱鬧的南大街，距離又見平遙演出地走路也就二十分鐘。 整體感覺，性價比高。臨走還送自家釀的陳醋和零食，真把住客當家人，閨女説下次來衹住他家😀

房間非常乾淨，體驗了山西的土炕文化很不錯的感覺，空調洗澡水都很給力。客棧位置絕佳，在市中心，鬧中取靜，距離古城各個景點和網紅餐廳都不遠，晚上回來晚了也不會擔心安全問題。客棧老闆特別好，來之前就幫我們預訂了《又見平遙》的演出票，到了後非常熱心的幫我們指路和介紹古城風貌，還有客棧的小哥哥幫我們接送行李。每天晚上回到客棧，不管多晚，都能看到老闆在門口等我們回去，老闆説要等到所有客人都回到客棧才放心睡覺，非常負責任和暖心的一位老闆，很贊。客棧的小院子打理的乾淨衞生，可以悠閑的喝一杯功夫茶，非常放鬆。下次來平遙古城，還會選擇住在這裏的。

在景區裏面的小巷子裏，車衹能停景區外，拖着行李走進去要十幾分鍾，房間特別小，連衞生間在一起不足10平米，連轉身的位置都沒有，設施老舊，房間沒有礦泉水和一次性拖鞋，使用的電熱水器，水小還不熱，根本沒法洗澡，馬桶水也很小，沖水很困難。要訂房的人慎重考慮！！！

小院非常古色古香，安靜優雅，地理位置優越，出門就是縣衙，房間乾淨整潔，店家非常熱心，從城外一路接我們進來，行李比較多，店家還很熱心的幫忙搬，以後來了還住這，值得推薦

民宿位於古城中心位置，出行便利。老闆很用心地佈置了小院，清晨起來，陽光鋪滿整個院子，温馨舒適！我們住的明清大莊房有內外兩間，復古的家居設計讓我們感覺到瞬間穿越。
