Everyone here is so friendly and good at their job. But I have to shout out some specific people: K2, Boy, Sapain, and the entire breakfast kitchen staff. So lovely and made me feel so welcomed and at home for my solo birthday trip. The food was delicious, location was amazing and close to the beach, and the room was very luxurious. 10/10 will come back again!

I could not recommend this place enough. The place is central at Kata Beach yet tucked away like a hidden oasis. Everything in this hotel was above and beyond expectations. Would love to come back here and stay longer. The breakfast buffet had nice options for everyone. It was better than a five star I stayed at in Bangkok.

An excellent 4 star hotel that is authentically Thai with very friendly and attentive staff. The rooms were magnificent and were serviced daily as you would expect. A fantastic emperor bed was extremely comfortable and our room was a Cabana room, which had direct access to the pool from our room. There were two sun beds outside our room, although it must be said that the rarely came to our poolside area. A great experience all round

We had a fantastic holiday at Sawdee in Thailand, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and top-notch hospitality that made us feel truly welcome. We stayed in a swim-up room, and it was absolutely incredible! Having direct access to the pool made our experience so much more enjoyable, especially for the kids who loved being able to jump in anytime. The room was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and offered stunning views of the pool area. The bed was super comfortable, and the amenities provided made our stay feel luxurious. The hotel facilities were impeccable, with a beautifully maintained pool, a well-equipped fitness centre, and a variety of dining options that catered to all tastes. The breakfast buffet was a particular highlight, offering a wide selection of delicious local and international dishes – a perfect way to start the day! Location-wise, the hotel is in an ideal spot – close to key shops and the beach, yet still peaceful enough to relax and unwind. The staff were always available to provide helpful recommendations on local tours and hidden gems to explore, making our holiday even more memorable. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the effort the team put into ensuring that our family had an unforgettable experience. From the thoughtful touches in the room to the excellent customer service, everything was beyond our expectations. If you're considering staying at Sawdee, don't hesitate! Probably the most beautiful hotel I stayed at. Looks like an eastern temple. Every design detail and every corner is picturesque. At night it is just breathtaking, shining stars everywhere: on the ground, in the pool etc. We loved the Baray villa and Cabana suite. Food is good, pools great. Didn't like the receptionists attitude: we moved from one type of rooms to another during the stay and they made us checkout at 12 and wait till 15 to check in again. Although they had rooms available. This is the first time I had such an experience :( Have to admit they did not kick us out from the premises.

Wow I don't have words to describe this beautiful resort. We stayed here for 7 nights, and it was the best resort we've stayed at. Let's start with the staff, they are so welcoming, always smiling and always help you! Especially the staff in the breakfast, and especially the amazing woman in the egg station who makes you a delicious omelette. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of choices and a very good service and good cappuccino. The resort itself is so beautiful!! The architecture, every detail is so amazing. Water everywhere. You can just enjoy walking around this beautiful place. We took the Cabana Suite and we are very happy with this choice. The room is HUGE, with direct access to the Cabana Pool, which is amazing, very big and refreshing. We haven't been in the main pool but it also looked very beautiful :) In the cabana pool, as well as the main pool there is an amazing bar inside the pool. From the cabana pool you also have a door directly to your shower. The shower itself is amazing, with a "rain" shower coming from the top of the ceiling. You receive a lot of complimentary things in the room, and every day 4 bottles of glass bottled drinking water which was amazing since we didn't need to buy water outside. We will come back for sure. Everything was just perfect! From the staff, to the architecture and beauty, to the food and comfortability.

SO disappointed. We booked the baray villa for 4 night on our honeymoon and the room was not what was advertised. All the beautiful pictures of the resort at night with glowing lights is only the new cabana pool. The “private” pool is just a glorified bathtub which wont stay shut so all the mosquitoes get in while you swim. The outdoor portion og the private pool is so shallow that you can just sit on the floor, not swim. The bigger pool it connects to is fine but the private pool bar advertised does not even have a bartender. You have to call the phone for someone to come down, unlike the public spaces which have a on duty staff member. If you ask me the more expensive and luxury rooms should not be the ones who have to call for a drink. Our sun chairs had no sun all day and we were right by the giant waterfall which was so loud that you could hear it inside in the bedroom. The walk to the beach is far and the breakfast is the worst we had on our trip. The only positive thing we can say is the room was very big, but just unusable space to make it seem more luxury. For a little extra money we booked a private villa at another hotel with an actual private pool you can swim in and has no open/closing times. And the AC was either freezing or off. The staff was nice but the stay was definitely not worth the price.
