一般是不評價的，但是入住體驗非常不錯。首先是老闆，真的很細心，提前就詢問我們各種，知道我們是自駕並且開電車，提前把自己的車堵在充電口停車位以防別人來停，周邊車位緊張的情況下我們到了也能立馬停車。其次房間，我們訂的套房，看圖片其中一個房間本以為會很小，但是兩間都很大，並且衞生環境設施真的無可挑剔，百分之90商家客房圖片都會貨不對版，但他們家真的很真實。最後來説位置和服務，位置出街就是一整條小吃街，想吃什麼都有了，離南門很近，其次老闆人很好，很細心，我們聊的很投機，知道我的愛好後還給送了對我來説很珍貴的禮物。兩衹小貓也真的很好擼。總之鎖死。沒得挑。

Đó là một trải nghiệm ở nhà dân rất tuyệt vời. Ông chủ và vợ ông ấy rất tốt bụng. Mặc dù tôi chỉ ở lại một đêm nhưng tôi vẫn cảm nhận được lòng hiếu khách của họ. Vị trí nằm trong hẻm của thành phố cổ nhưng không ồn ào vào ban đêm. Đây là đêm thứ 4 của chuyến đi và là đêm ngủ ngon nhất. Rất thuận tiện cho việc đi lại, bạn có thể ra ngoài đi dạo cả ngày lẫn đêm. Bà chủ còn tặng tôi đồ uống và kẹo khi tôi rời đi.

The guest house owners were very initiative. They picked us up from the Dali Railway station. The rooms were clean. Since there are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, we had a big room and a smaller room joined together with 2 large beds. The view was amazing. Upon arrival, it was 4.45pm, and we asked for recommendations of where to eat. However, since it's neither dinner nor lunch time, the owner Mr Hao suggested that we eat in the guesthouse itself. The guest house auntie cooked for us the best rice noodles that we have eaten so far. Springy white noodles in a bowl of hot flavourful broth. My kids slurped it all up and polished the whole big bowl. When we asked for recommendations on local eating places, Mr Hao gave us a whole list of his specially curated food places, which we managed to try 2 of them. And indeed they were good. The downside was that there were no coffee or tea sachets in the room. But they said they will make it for us and can send it to our rooms. They mentioned that they have a tea room. And so we enjoyed the 2 types of brewed puer tea while Mr Hao explained a little about the tea. Personally, I feel that since they have a special tea room to enjoy tea, sending sachet or tea bags would be inappropriate and a disrespect to the art of enjoying Puer tea. Location wise, it has a good view of the lake. And it's quiet. It's not exactly near the old town but we took a taxi (20 mins) to the old town. Thankfully, we didn't stay at the old town as it's way too crowded, and we felt it's a tourist trap. However, near the guest house, there were many highly recommended restaurants. The guest house has a dining area on the 1st floor. One thing that I really enjoyed about this place is the dining area. The lady that cooked the meal for us looked like a typical chinese grandma (which reminded me of my late grandma) that she cooked the food so deliciously with passion. While we had our breakfast she would sit at another table, she wasnt staring , just casually sitting while browsing her phone or ensuring we finish our food but her presence reminded me of when my late grandma would sit and watch us eat to ensure we have no leftovers. Lol. It was an oddly familiar and nostalgic feeling that we laughed about. But we do get the homey feel, which we really liked. The guest house also had a laundry room for guests to use. The guest house owners were very initiative, friendly, and helpful. Anything we need, we just let Mr Hao know, and he would reply. He even offered to send us back to the highway station. It's definitely highly recommended. And I would ask my friends that should they come to Dali, they should stay in this place. It's just perfect for us.

Khách sạn nằm phía sau đồn công an, lần đầu tìm không thấy biển. Ông chủ tìm mọi cách đón mình ở ngã tư. Khách sạn rất nhân văn. đồ ăn nhẹ buổi tối và bữa sáng. Có nhiều khu vực nghỉ ngơi mà bạn có thể nhận phòng và chụp ảnh. Ông chủ rất tốt bụng và hữu ích. Ông ấy luôn nhiệt tình nhưng cũng có ý thức về ranh giới. Bãi đậu xe trong một chiếc ô tô nhỏ màu trắng khi chúng tôi trả phòng xong, chúng tôi sẽ cất hành lý đến sau 6 giờ rồi quay lại lấy. lên và trở về Khách sạn đã lấy hành lý và chuẩn bị cẩn thận một món quà khởi hành nhỏ độc đáo. Cá nhân tôi nghĩ đó là một khách sạn rất nhân văn và tinh tế.

I cannot recommend Sunyata Homestay in Dali enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience of genuine warmth and care. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a serene escape after long days of exploring. The afternoon tea and breakfast they served were nothing short of extraordinary. I’ve stayed in multiple 4-5 star hotels across China over the past month, but the gourmet food here easily surpassed them all. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, leaving me in awe of the flavors and quality. The location of Sunyata Homestay is also perfect. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds to remain peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Dali Ancient City that it’s only a few steps away from great eateries and the heart of the ancient town. The balance is ideal for anyone seeking convenience without sacrificing tranquility. A special shout-out to the young lady working in the coffee shop up front—her coffee is unparalleled! My husband, who is a daily coffee drinker and rarely impressed, couldn’t stop raving about her brews. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had during our travels. The staff here deserve every bit of praise. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. However, what truly sets Sunyata apart is the incredible owner. My father had a bad accident in Dali on a rainy day, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without his support. Despite my limited Mandarin, he spent an entire day accompanying me to the hospital, ensuring we were well cared for and understood. The next day, he went out of his way to pick up the CT scans for us. His kindness and compassion left me speechless. The owner’s dedication to his guests is reflected in his amazing team, all of whom go above and beyond. Without his help, I would have had to cut my trip to China short. Instead, he turned a difficult situation into one where we felt supported and cared for like family. Sunyata Homestay is truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for their hospitality. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of comfort, care, and culinary delights. Thank you, Sunyata, for everything!

Tôi rất hài lòng với kỳ nghỉ của mình! Vị trí tuyệt vời và giao thông cực kỳ thuận tiện. Dịch vụ lễ tân thân thiện và chuyên nghiệp, thủ tục nhận phòng nhanh chóng và được nâng cấp phòng chu đáo. Phòng sạch sẽ và rộng rãi, chăn ga gối đệm êm ái, mềm mại, cách âm tuyệt vời, đảm bảo một đêm ngon giấc. Phòng tắm có khu vực tắm ướt và tắm khô riêng biệt, đồ dùng vệ sinh cá nhân chất lượng cao. Tôi đặc biệt yêu thích những chi tiết như cửa sổ kính suốt từ trần đến sàn, bồn tắm và các thiết bị thông minh, tất cả đã tạo nên một trải nghiệm thực sự đặc biệt! Khách sạn có nhiều bữa sáng ngon miệng và tiện nghi đầy đủ. Nhân viên thân thiện và niềm nở. Thật sự rất ấm lòng. Giá cả rất hợp lý, và tôi chắc chắn sẽ quay lại đây trong chuyến đi Đại Lý tiếp theo! Rất khuyến khích cho những du khách coi trọng chất lượng.
