Lý do chính để ghé thăm là để đi xe buýt 540 yên đi Ogizawa từ ga Shinano Omachi. Xe buýt nằm n*** đối diện trạm xe buýt. Sáng hôm sau, tôi bắt xe buýt đến Ogizawa, cách đó khoảng 25 phút. Khung cảnh sân vườn dễ chịu, nội thất được trang trí theo phong cách Nhật Bản với sự tỉ mỉ đến từng chi tiết. Bữa tối và bữa sáng khá thịnh soạn. Hành lý của tôi đã đến nơi, và nhân viên đã lau chùi bánh xe rất cẩn thận. Dịch vụ tuyệt vời.

位置在山頂，不太便利 不過自駕遊，也沒所謂 從成田機場開車到酒店4.5小時 Check in已是凌晨12點多 酒店職員下班了都為我們check in 但是下雪，雪地有山路是不開放的都沒有圍封 錯誤走進了，因為不開放的山路沒有剷雪 車比卡雪地了 好彩離酒店不遠 酒店職員很快幫我們拖車 酒店服務十分好，十分滿意 房間內有煮食爐、餐具 十分便利。 酒店外下雪景色太美了 都不想離開

We love the location because it's not far from Hakuba where we go skiing. The facilities at the hotel are great; bath, gift shop, vending machine. However, they don't have a laundry machine which is not convenience for people who come for skiing. Breakfast and dinner are super delicious. The room is spacious, we booked the Japanese style with futons. However, we wish they come and fold the futons while we were out. Other than that, it's very nice hotel.

I’ve stayed at many ryokans throughout my travels—often making up half of each trip—but this one felt a bit different. It seemed to be run by just one person, who I assume is the owner. Everything was self-service, which might be understandable considering it was the most affordable option among the ryokans in the area. Most amenities required an extra fee, such as towels. Payment was made by dropping coins into a basket and making your own change, which wasn’t very convenient—especially since I didn’t carry much cash. One thing I appreciated was the luggage delivery service. I was able to leave my bag at the lobby before check-out and have it sent to Toyama Station (for about 4,000 JPY, cash only). What stood out was the creativity in the shared spaces. There were several common rooms designed for relaxing and spending time—perfect if you’re traveling with friends. You could play ping pong, read books, watch TV, or use the canteen, which had a microwave and dishes available. They even had coin-operated massage chairs and a small fitness room. However, I must mention two important downsides: 1. Limited nearby dining options – Many restaurants shown as open on Google Maps were actually closed. The only one that was open had extremely slow service—I waited nearly an hour for dinner. 2. Insects—large ones – Unfortunately, I encountered big insects in my room, which made it hard to sleep. (He even provided insect-catch tape for me while introduce the room) I stayed awake most of the night, worrying it might come back—especially stressful since I had to get up early the next morning to catch a bus to Ogizawa. Minds you, stairs only, need to carry your luggage down by yourself. Overall, while it offers good value for the area and has unique communal features, this ryokan may not suit travelers who prefer full service, cashless payment, or guaranteed comfort.

着いた日が、雨だったのですが、寒くなく、個室で落ち着いて眠れました。シャワーが、もう少し湯量が出たらありがたいけど、まあまあです。登山のための前泊としては良いと思います。スタッフ？の方も優しく丁寧に説明してもらい、安心感がありました。 信濃大町は、インスタでフォローしてて来たかった町でした。

It's a lovely place, very helpful staffs, very yummy meals and very comfortable to stay.😊
