This hotel is more for business people or short stay. Location is good for Richmond Hill and Markham. Breakfast is good. Swimming pool and gym are small. The room is spacious. It has a kitchen. Everything is pleasant and good condition. Not luxurious or modern but clean and comfort. Not much service. More a self service stay. The front desk is not 24 hours. I had a good experience.

The people at the hotel were generally helpful. Housekeeping needs to improve as they always keep missing something. Breakfast can have more varieties. Swimming pool was not available during my whole stay.

A very nice and newly renovated hotel . We are checked in by Michael , he is very professional helpful and friendly, make us feel like home . When we checked out by Leanor she is so nice and helpful too. The hotel gives us very good impression and definitely will stay again. Highly recommended!

There is no light on celling the first room they give me, before I went down to the front desk, I ask the housekeeping lady and she told me talk to front desk room after 21, there is no celling light, the room inside was very dark, I went down told front desk and changed another room and then she give me room 25, I told her housekeeping lady told me no celling light after 21 then she ask me go upstairs to check first, after I check and going back down said no night, she give me another room #49, I told her again no celling light after room #21, she still give me room#49 , I told her to call housekeeping department to check but she ask me go to check by myself, I never heard a 4 stars hotel will asked guess to check room for front desk, she don't want to change another room for me before I check room#49. Then I go upstairs to check then going back down again. She told me there is no more rooms available. I told her I want to talk to her supervisor, her supervisor come out and finally give me room#11 room with a celling light . Total I using 1 hour to check-in. That is what kind of hotel it is.

I had a studio room at towneplace with a king bed and a sofa bed. However, the sofa bed is way too old for use with human! You can feel the steel springs just by touching the surface. It can't hold even the weight of a child. They hotel then sent up a roller bed whose mattress is just as dated and unusesable as the sofa bed's. I then suggested that they look for a firmer mattress without springs. They managed to bring one way bigger than the roller bed frame can hold. We had no choice but used it for 4 nights but that unfortunately took up most space in the studio living hall. The hotel room is in general old but very clean! Having said that, the breakfast is fantastic with lots of hot and fresh choices. Veggie patties or burgers are a heartwarming consideration for vegetarian. The breakfast attendant named Vivek is exceptionally helpful and cheerful. His level of service is only seen in fine-dining restaurants! 👍 Thumbs up!

This is my third reservation at Courtyard by Marriott and it was a very comfortable stay. The hotel room was very clean, and the housekeepers were kind in giving me any supplies I was running out of during my stay. I would definitely stay here again, whether with family or myself.
