Ac didn’t work, it was hot inside even with open windows. Parking is really limited. Restaurant is great and had very budget prices

Air conditioning does not work in any of the rooms because the hotel management will not turn on the chillers. I have been staying at the Doubletree several times per year on business and each occasion have a room where the air-conditioning is not working (just blowing warm air). On each occasion until this visit, i have been given a different room on request which has been slightly cooler and informed that many of the chillers need replacing, On this stay of two nights was told that the chillers are not turned on and the reception staff have no idea when the air-con will be activated. This is the final stay and I do not recommend this hotel.

Good hotel. Friendly staff. Clean. Bartenders are great and front desk staff are super friendly. The spa massage therapists are also amazing. The bad: water pressure is not great and depending on where your room is, internet may not work. Close enough to shops/food.

I recently stayed in this hotel for the 4th time over the past 10 years and I have to admit that it’s one of my favorite hotels. Of course a high Hilton Honors status helps a lot as you get free breakfast (like in any Hilton hotel), access to the pool, free parking and a few free drinks at the bar. The pool is fantastic, the gym is well equipped, it’s a short walking distance to reach the city center, the park right across the street is ideal for kids to play basketball or football. The rooms are spotless clean, modern and well equipped. Breakfast quality has slightly decreased over the years but it’s still very good. Staff is nice, flexible and friendly. Always looking forward to the next opportunity to visit.

The bathrooms were well-equipped with a hair dryer, body wash, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. It took us a moment to figure out the shower handles, but we managed eventually. The sheets were clean, and there were plenty of towels and a robe included. One room had a river view, while the other had a balcony overlooking the park, which was lovely. The hallways by the elevators and lobby featured beautiful pictures and artwork. The elevator itself was nice, with full glass offering great views of the river and city. Delicious breakfast. Issues with the room: It was pricey and did not include free access to amenities like the swimming pool, breakfast, or parking, which are typically included in the price at most hotels. We had to pay for everything: $18 per day for breakfast, $12 per day for parking, $18 per entry to the swimming pool area, and $3.50 for a small bottle of water from the mini-fridge. The AC in both rooms didn't work properly. There was no pamphlet in the room to assist guests with how to use the amenities, such as inserting and keeping the hotel key in the slot by the door to turn on the AC and lights, which is not standard in many hotels. Additionally, there was no welcome pamphlet providing information on things to do in the City of Oradea. The restaurant food was not great and was quite expensive for what was offered. The salmon was standard and didn't taste fresh, while the rice was floating in water and tasted plain—the worst rice I've ever had, despite it being easy to prepare. Although we dined at the hotel's restaurant, we were still charged for parking. The concierge never mentioned that parking would be free if we ate there.

The place enjoys nice location,walk away from the city,the fortress. We received nice Welcome and bit out fashioned Suite. Our main problem was to get some sleep.As hotel is located opposite a nice park,the First night we were disturbed by noisy sport makers after midnight. The second night loudly music from a nearby bar prompted us to ask for earpplugs. Hotel reactions/ surely instructed by the management/ We can not control the Exterior. Well we pay for good sleep and rest regardless the Exterior. Reception was rather cold or full of Excuses. So our experience was week,talking about the main function of the Hotel to sleep. Offer to have 15prct Discount on Drinks during our next stay as a Sorry was the final bad expression and prompt to write this review.Pool was ok,breakfast was a mess. It was a pitty to see lovely variety of dishes but with poor presentation or all totally cold at the Warm Station. The superlative was the Bar food and Wine service. Had Dinner twice,top level of all dishes. At home we realized we were charged with drinks were we where given free Drinks coupons. There is not much of choice at this charming city..so.

Excellent service from start to finish. Upgraded in advance and expertly welcomed on arrival by Marius, who explained the impressive range of Diamond HH benefits. The one-bedroom suite had inspirational views of the river and city. Also plenty of living space that included a dining table and separate lounge area. Great for couples or family (using connecting bedroom). Nelu was the perfect host in the restaurant; expert local recommendations! This is an impressive Doubletree offering that provides great value for money. Would not stay anywhere else in Oradea.

I do not recommend. The hotel has serious problems on the heating system in the room and even the shower water was cold. Not recommended to stay. When i called reception they said “ you were not informed about the water problems at the check in?” Of course not… i do not recommend to stay here. There are pther better hotels in the area.
