Loved the old charm of the property! Staff was very friendly and it was walking distance to a bunch of shops and restaurants! Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful older inn with a great breakfast- adorable teatime n snacks at night- great staff- and comfortable beds and clean spacious rooms

We love staying here! The staff are extremely kind and helpful and the atmosphere is unbeatable. The tea room was the highlight of our trip! We also had a wonderful time exploring the area. The boardwalk and the water are so close by!

Perfect location in downtown Newburyport. Walking distance to shops and waterfront. Hotel is historic but also decorated in the boutique hotel style. Glamorous and welcoming all at the same time. Added bonus…. Delicious complimentary cooked to order breakfast in the cutest dining area!!!

The only complaint I have is that the AC was very loud.
The Inn was lovely as was the staff and the chef

We enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was complimentary and outstanding. Very well decorated with lots of boutique touches. Room was very clean and spacious and super cute. My only minor complaint was that the AC unit was loud and not very efficient at cooling.

Beautiful spot, close to downtown and more! Had beautiful decor and a nice tea time which I loved. My two complaints the main light stopped working in my room told housekeeping and tried to call downstairs.
The bed needs to be replaced the room is beautiful but the bed was beyond uncomfortable time to upgrade the bed for a boutique had the worse sleep ever!
Breakfast as yummy as well.
The receptionist upon check in was the best so friendly and accommodating!!

My stay was great. If you like antique or want to try something different the Garrison is the place to go. They offer a hot breakfast and nightly tea.
