The buffet was just average and it is difficult to get reservations at the sit down restaurants which had much better food. The nice thing was the beach staff brought you a chair and umbrella when you went out.

Reservations were difficult to get for dinner. Food was below average. Room had only one chair. Asked for towels and never received them.

I found the RIU palace to be exceptionally clean. We had an excellent stay here and would recommend it to everyone we know

Riu Palace Paradise Island 4 nights trip for me and my wife was better than expected. Smooth early checkin and complimentary upgraded room was offered and ready early. Food was very good especially in the buffet with plenty of options for breakfast lunch or dinner. We got reservations for 2 specialty restaurants, Krystal & Bahamas steakhouse, both with excellent service and delicious food steaks and seafood. The beach is literally just a few steps away and is lovely. Pools not our thing but drinks were always quick and tasty. We will be back for a third visit TBD.

Staff was excellent, very nice resort. Loved the volleyball and pools. Wish there was couple more things to do.

Great property directly on the beach. Great for a relaxing vacation. Plenty of food options especially if you enjoy steak. Try to make reservations for specialty dining early, they book up fast. On site spa was great. Only flaw is the lack of entertainment on the resort. If your looking for a party trip this may not be the place for you. If your looking for a beautiful beach, Great food, drinks and relaxation with no kids this week be perfect. You always have the option to explore outside the resort also.

Riu was a smaller size resort but extremely clean. Miles of beach to walk. Staff stays on top of entertainment and they make you feel like at home. Beautiful downtown. We rented side by side from A&A rentals( best price and staff you can ask for) and went to explore. I’ll be back for sure.

We had a great time. The only issue we had was the two queen beds put together instead of getting a king bed. It was very uncomfortable to sleep in. And the restaurants being booked out so fast was annoying. The buffet was good but not the best. The staff is great. Our favorite part was the pool bar, the bartenders are fun. Anthony the bartender was our favorite. Great location just the hotel is a little rundown. In conclusion, I would come here again.
