Booked a 2 nights stay (Executive Room, Twin beds) at Oakwood Hotel in late Dec 24. New hotel hence rooms are very clean. We were assigned a room on L6 and found they just have 10 rooms on the floor. Carpets very fresh looking. Rooms are available all way to L22. Restaurant serving breakfast and dinner is at L8. Breakfast spread is good, quite a lot of variety. This (L8) is the same level for swimming pool as well. Nice sunset views from the pool! No jacuzzi at the pool however. Staff are friendly and provide timely assistance. Hotel has tie-up with next door AESPA for 20% disc for guests. But need to book the massage via Hotel reception. Hotel is connected to next door Grand Batam Mall via L5 (the connection link to the Mall carpark, which leads to L3 of the mall, but don’t know why we can’t tap card to return to Hotel using same way back, maybe card wasn’t programmed correctly). There is supposedly another lift at L8 next to restaurant to also lead guests to some floors of the Mall, but we didn’t get to try that as the lift was having some maintenance at that time). In general, we liked the Hotel for the clean rooms, comfortable beds and proximity to the Mall. It takes about 15min drive from Batam Centre Ferry Terminal to Hotel.

Perfectly located beside Grand Batam Mall with 2 spas very nearby. Room is clean but twin beds are small (single sized bed instead of super single sized bed commonly found in other hotels). There are toilet amenities with slippers but would be good to have body lotion as well. Breakfast variety adequate and food relatively ok. Overall, the location and new hotel status are key advantages to book this hotel (if cost is not so much of a concern).

Greatly appreciate the complimentary birthday cake. Definitely will recommend this hotel, room amenities are great, nice swimming pool and super convenient location which can linked to grand batam mall via carpark access.

Conveniently located next to Grand Batam Mall with direct access to the mall. Staff were warm and attentive. Room was spacious and generally clean. Only downside were the ants in the living room and the stained bedsheets, although the sheets were promptly changed the next day by housekeeping.

The bed pretty small and no bathtub, best is the location link to mall, we witness a light bulb drop from the ceiling in the lobby lucky didn’t hurt anyone, the reception does not offer any free upgrade, if not for location would opt for the hotel opp with free breakfast and bathtub and near to A2 and many massage nearby, there is a aespa downstairs, if u ask hotel book can get 20% off

A new upscale hotel that has the best location! Grand Batam Mall is just at its door step. All the staffs are very friendly.

Beautiful room with a great view. Location is 2 minutes from Grand Batam Mall. AC in the rooms could have had stronger fans but apart from that, it was a great experience.

Hotel was right within Grand Batam Mall, where you can find everything needed! Since it’s new amenities were great, infinity pool at level 8 was an highlight. Staff service were also great, front desk and security make you feel safe and welcoming every time you enter/exit. Thou Price it’s slightly steep, but definitely worth the value. Great choice!

Everything it’s perfect … room was clean service was fast … food can be improve but overall still good

Location is splendid. Just next to Batam Grand mall. The room is clean but rather small. Breakfast is so-so. The reception staff are very polite and full of smiles.
