Hyatt Place Memphis Primacy Parkway

Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Room was a good size in a good, safe neighborhood. Beds were comfortable, but lots of maintenance needed with the faucets and showers. And the lady at breakfast was not very helpful. Overall, I would recommend the hotel.

Staff were disrespectful for the first time in the checkin when I inquired about the deposit. The lady was raising her voice almost yelling at me. Staff usually are nice and cooperative

A great hotel for the price. Breakfast bar has a good selection and food is good. Great way to start your travel day! Great location for working in the Memphis area. Staff treat you with the upmost respect! I love this hotel and staff.

The hotel itself and our room were great. The room was clean and very spacious. However, check-in and check-out were beyond awful. There is nothing on the site saying that they don’t accept cash, which was a bad surprise considering that’s all we had. I was also informed that our stay would be $50 more than what we had reserved the room for (a deposit for incidentals). So we had to go to Kroger to add money to my PayPal card. The hotel wasn’t able to use my papypal card for whatever reason, so I had to spend $3 to move it to another card. Though it was not the hotel’s fault, that move took 30 minutes to process which just added to the chaos. I was finally able to check in and was able to enjoy the room. At check-out, I waited for 20 minutes before I was able to flag down a cleaning lady to go get someone to come to the desk. The guy told me that my $50 would be released automatically and gave me a receipt for the original price (without the $50 incidental fee). Then, when we finally get to our car, we have a paper on the windshield saying that we needed to pay for parking… in the hotel parking lot?! Why pay for a room, an additional $50 fee that I was not informed of beforehand, AND pay to park??? Now it’s been 5 hours, and the $50 still hasn’t hit my card. I e contacted the hotel and they say it’s released, but Venmo says otherwise. This has been the most stressful hotel stay I have ever had. I really enjoyed the room but all the added stress is not worth it.

The staff were very nice, respectful, considerate, welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, or very great staff. The hotel was clean the bed was very comfortable. if I should return to Memphis TN to stay, I would definitely stay here at the Hyatt on primacy Park.

Paid parking is $7 a day and that is a joke considering the location and ample space. My room smelled horribly of cigarette smoke.

The water wasn't in a great place due to the weather but the room was spacious and clean. I enjoyed my stay, breakfast, and cable.

This property is average at best. I’ve stayed at better Hyatts and this wasn’t like a lot of the others. Maybe it’s a work in progress but the beds were squeaky. The tiles in the bathroom were laying on the floor. The room was spacious and only reason I stayed at this property was because it’s a Tesla charging station less than a mile away.
