good bang for the buck

Key card was erases while I kept it in with my phone. Had to get it fixed three times over the day.

We stayed her when passing through from a trip out east. The price was very good and we weren't sure what to expect after a not so great experience in Calgary. But we were very pleasantly surprised. I think it is an older building but has been kept up very well and appear to be recently renovated. It was very accessible off the highway with lots of parking. They had cameras on the premises and ample lighting to make sure our vehicle and belongings were safe. The bar/lounge/restaurant served Indian food and it was quite tasty. It was late when we arrived but they did let us place an order for food still at 10pm. Overall very happy and will be staying again!

Stayed here before , front desk staff are always a pleasure to deal with.

Nice quite rooms as well as very clean. Coffee machine in room and supplied with coffee and tea. Very friendly staff. Lots of parking with many block heater outlets. Very nice India cuisine restaurant with your choice of 'hot level' food and a nice variety. Would definitely stay here again.

Understanding the low rates are because of the ongoing renovations I can accept that… but it’s a pretty basic service to provide heat… we should have turned around when we walked in and the desk clerk was wearing a parka… sniffling and sneezing all over everything. Our first room was so cold it was unbelievable, we left our luggage there with the promise it would warm up, but when we came back after attending our event it was still frosty… we were moved from that room which was a suite to a regular room (and credited $10) We pulled on extra blankets so we could sleep and put towels on the tile bathroom floor so it was tolerable to walk on… actually ran the shower at full hot to get some warmth in the room as the heater wasn’t getting it done… the water that came out initially was brown and nasty leaving a bunch of debris in the tub which suggests this room hadn’t been used for a while and perhaps the lines hadn’t been flushed after some work…. The other adventure was finding a plug in that worked for our car… went through 4 or five spots before we found one.. we asked specifically before we booked and were told everything was great, lots of plug ins… and I get it, it was unusually cold… but everywhere else we went was able to heat their premises to livable temperatures. We had to put our jackets on just to go down the hallway… will never ever stay here again. Lots of promises, no delivery.

Location is easy to access just off the highway.

From the lobby desk and into the elevator to the third floor smelled like really bad cheap grandma perfume. The “shower” took 5 minutes to warm up to a useable temperature and kind of spittled out of the faucet and shower head. I think the new owners bought a lemon for a hotel. We will stay elsewhere the next time around.

It was nice. The top sheet had a stain on it & I know other hotels only charge $10/night for pet friendly. So that was unfortunate.

Concrete floor in lobby. Looks like a construction site. Counter personal said it’s been like this for a long time. Front desk man was not made for the hospitality industry. Very abrupt. Check in took a long time after we had resolved some initial issues. I won’t or stay another nite if it was free.

Was a great stay, pool was closed but would still recommend

Attention to detail on room cleaning could be better.
