Kassapa Lions Rock

Very nice place to stay. It was very calm and soothing. The pool is nice and the restaurant was good. Friendly staff. The peper steak and pasta carbonara were good to eat for diner by the candlelight. The breakfast was various and live cooking eggs.

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Kassapa Lions Rock in Sigiriya for a day, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality. The atmosphere at Kassapa Lions Rock is truly enchanting. Nestled in nature, the tranquility of the surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing stay. We were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, setting the tone for the delightful experiences that followed. The culinary offerings were a highlight of our stay. Each meal was a feast for the senses, thanks to the expertise of Chef Nimal. His dedication to excellent customer service and delicious cuisine did not go unnoticed and added an extra layer of enjoyment to our visit. Great location 2 pools Serene and peaceful Exceptionally clean Went as part of a group tour ( 14 of us in total). Stayed here as it is close to the lions rock so we hiked there in the morning. Beds was great, fully functioning AC and fan. Water bottles and fridge in room too which was a bonus

This was easily one of the best stays. The food was amazing. The service was top notch, special thanks to staff Lalantha, Piumika and everyone else who worked to give us an unforgettable experience. The location was convenient for us since we travelled to Sigiriya, Pidurangala and Dambulla. Definitely recommend the place.

Excellent place to stay - a pearl in the middle of the jungle. The hotell roms are big with very comfortable beds. The bathroom is also fascinating with open sky over the shower. The service was excellent much thanks to our waiter, Lalantha. Much recommended!

Beautiful hotel in middle of lush green jungle . Peaceful with bird and wildlife sounds . Pool great clean and welcoming. Rooms very large comfortable beds and light sheets . Food amazing and staff could not be more helpful and genuine. Stayed 2 nights while traveling could have stayed for a week or 2 will come back .

Really nice hotel with excellent service. Wait staff were outstanding. The buffet is very good with separate cooled room for salads and deserts. It would help to keep the food warm though. Great grounds for a stroll and a very welcome clean swimming pool. The rooms are generous and laid out like chalets in a game park. Reminded us of Africa. The open shower is probably not a good idea. Walls are stained and it's quite mouldy. Perhaps wifi in reception would also be a good idea

To begin with the best point, the food who is delicious and varied. But the bedrooms are not very good, little plug and the sheets are not very good. The bathroom as a lot of leafs and it is difficult to wash in it because of the low pression. It is hard to get the WiFi password and there is no information in the room to know how to contact the staff.

Lovely hotel setting with a backdrop of the majestic Sigiriya rock. We stayed for 3 nights on our Sri Lanka tour and was one of the families favourite. 2 pools, stunning views,, great food and lovely friendly staff. Only giving 4 as I think the chalets could do with some TLC, but a minor critique as for 3 nights it was more than acceptable. Special mention to Harsha the Bar Supervisor who was so friendly and welcoming during our stay. Top man!
