Great location from King’s Cross station but very basic amenities. Little sound proofing and noise from street.

Quite clean. But there are a lot of stairs and I tripped over when I came out of the room and hit the opposite room door because I forgot that there is one stair down and up again in front of my room.

Great little rooms very convenient to the station. Very comfy bed! Would definitely stay again.

Alhambra Hotel is really small with tiny rooms, located along a row of English style old houses near to King’s Cross station. No lifts, narrow staircase to carry your luggage up. Had to figure out how to open our luggage with narrow space in room. Relatively clean but poor sound insulation so you can hear next door. Many tiny rooms squashed together. Did not have shampoo left in the shower but a tiny bar of soap. Really pricey for this hotel. Would not stay here again .

It is a family based and managing hotel. The reception and room are separated into two areas. The rooom is clean. The bathroom's quality is average and the staff's attitude are average, quite self servicing style. It is like school/campus. The location is wonderful where 5-8mins walk from two main stations in such pricing. It is highly recommended to someone who need to catch a early morning train. Lastly, Harry potter fan can be alerted.

The staff were very helpful and receptive, even despite the late hour we checked in. The hotel is split over 3 different buildings, the main reception and then 2 neighbouring buildings across the street. We were the floor below street level and were able to hear the underground passing, but it wasn't too much of an issue as it came across as more like background noise. Unfortunately, the rest of the hotel isn't really soundproofed either and sound from all over carried down to our room. People above us getting up, moving around and chatting. There was also someone else, either a guest or a worker (it was likely a worker/cleaner because the laugh was heard coming from different places), who had a very distinct laugh that seemed to find everything hilarious. Not a bad thing unless it's at 5 and 7 in the morning when you're trying to sleep before a busy day out in London! Overall, it's a very good location with welcoming staff and well priced but if you're a light sleeper and wake at any noise, I'd suggest earplugs or maybe a different place!

I wasn’t expecting this level of cleanliness and comfort for such a reasonable price. Also the luggage storage service was a massive help as my flight was much later that night. With the hotel being so close to King’s Cross it was easy to get around the city. Having the patio garden on site was also a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and come back.

The rooms are small, but spotlessly clean. Front desk staff were helpful. The location is outstanding. Some rooms can hear Tube trains, but in the end this didn't bother me much. Overall it is a good value for your money. Breakfast is no longer served. A to go box is available for purchase.
