From the moment we arrived via boat to the most beautiful setting, we were breath taken! The private beach is great for snorkeling and safe for kids. Our room (no. 6) was a good size, nice balcony, some sea views and comfortable. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful, especially the receptionist who was always smiling and super friendly. Of our 8-day stay in Koh Lipe, we spent 3 nights here. By comparison, the hotel we moved to next was marginally cheaper, also with a high (but not as high) rating. Ten Moons was the better deal!!! Pros: - Stunning location - Large glass water jug in the room (which was refilled daily using a 5 gallon water bottle rather than multiple small plastic bottles). Great to see the hotel reducing the use of plastic! - Great breakfast selection - Food available all day - Clean - Staff helpful and friendly - Life jackets, beach toys, snorkels, etc available for use for free - Quiet location/very peaceful and relaxing - Lovely sand (sand texture tends to vary in Koh Lipe however it was great here!) - Walking distance or ferry ride to walking street and more livelier areas Cons: - One of the few hotels not showing a sign or communicating/educating tourists NOT to step on coral. The by-product is that there isn’t a lot of live coral to see although there is still a lot of fish life. By comparison, we saw a hotel further down actively promoting not to stand on coral with staff educating tourists - No pool (although not needed as the sea area is more than ample to swim in) - No kayaks (available for hire at THB200 per hour nearby, less than a minute walk away) - Not for people who struggle with stairs (although there are a couple of villas on the beach without the use of stairs) We would most certainly stay here again!

Very nice charming small resort with few bungalows. It was my 2nd time at Koh Lipe. Tried different hotels. I’ve booked a garden villa at Bulow Casa. One of the best location on the island, very peaceful, just next to the Zodiac bar which is the spot for sunset. The villas are very comfortable and spacious. I liked the decoration. Free Tuk Tuk until 6 pm and the staff is very kind. However, the service of the restaurant is not at the level we expect for this price. Compared to some other hotels, the reactivity is quite slow… Needed to wait long time for our orders and that, several times. And it wasn’t the peak season yet… wondering how they will manage with a full capacity of the hotel. So I think it needs some little improvements… I’ve not been impressed by the food as well. Good breakfast though. we finished to take our dinner in some other restaurants located more south of the sunrise beach.

Their genuine hospitality and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel like VIPs throughout our stay. Every request, big or small, was met with a smile and promptness, adding to the overall exceptional service. The resort itself is a hidden gem nestled in a serene location, providing the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. The well-maintained grounds, lush greenery, and peaceful ambiance contributed to a sense of tranquility that allowed us to truly unwind and connect with nature. Speaking of nature, the surrounding beauty of Koh Lipe is simply breathtaking. Pristine white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and vibrant marine life make this island paradise a true haven for nature enthusiasts. Snorkeling and diving in the nearby coral reefs were unforgettable experiences, offering us a glimpse into a vibrant underwater world. Now, let's talk about the food! The culinary delights at Irene Resort were nothing short of exceptional. The diverse menu offered a wide range of delectable dishes that catered to every palate. Each meal was meticulously prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. We savored every bite and were left impressed by the skilled chefs who clearly took pride in their craft. Although our vacation was filled with joy and memorable moments, I must mention the only downside we encountered. The lack of sufficient lighting outside at night posed a safety hazard, as my wife unfortunately tripped and hurt her ankle. However, it is worth noting that the resort staff responded swiftly and provided immediate assistance, ensuring she received the necessary care. While this incident was unfortunate, it did not overshadow the overall fantastic experience we had at Irene Resort. In conclusion, our vacation at Irene Resort in Koh Lipe was an extraordinary experience. The impeccable service, delectable cuisine, and the island's natural beauty left us with lasting memories. We highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a romantic and rejuvenating getaway. With its warm hospitality and stunning surroundings, Irene Resort truly stands out as a haven of tranquility and indulgence.

This is my third visit to Lipe Island, and it has been the most wonderful stay so far. The front desk staff were truly amazing—always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with anything needed. The views from our accommodation were simply breathtaking, arguably the best on the island. What made the experience even more special were the warm and welcoming people here, along with the delicious breakfast served each morning. A perfect getaway in every way! 11/10

Stayed here for 3 nights, Rooms are chalet concept. 5mins walk from the pier. Pros - Lots of beach chairs - Quite beach (away from the noisy boats and safer to swim) - Provide beach towels - Massage hut by the beach (run separately by a different operator) - 5mins walk to walking street - Provide snorkelling gear for rental - Breakfast was ok. Restaurant food was good. - Friendly staff - Awesome mini fridge (super cold) Cons - Restaurant closes at 7pm - WiFi is not stable at all - The hotel sewerage system is not so good hence there’s a smell (bare-able) from the bathroom. Both our rooms were like that. Just mask it with the air refresherner they provided.

The hostel is in a convenient position, right in the walking street. The ground floor is sort of a post office, which makes it kind of chaotic and crowded and sometimes the shoes (that you need to leave outside of the building) are covered by the amount of packages being delivered. One pair of my shoes got taken by someone else (stolen?).  I felt there is really no control of whoever comes up, as the post office is so chaotic that no one checks who comes and goes to the hostel on the upper floors. The common area is not that big and the WiFi is not stable at all. Nevertheless these are things  The showers need some maintainance, some have hangers for clothes, some don’t, some have broken ones. Same for the toilets. The cleaning of the showers and toilet areas was quite under control. I just wish that people with long hair would clean after themselves, because patches of bestie ere to be found on the sink and the showers all the time. The room was relatively small, with 3 bunk beds and 6 small lockers. I recommend earplugs because you never know if the people in your room will snore, and also because the people in the hallway and common area are loud and no one respects the 10pm silence hours.  Good deal for money if you want to explore Ko Lipe on a budget.
