Die Villa war wunderschön genauso wie der Rest der gesamten Hotel Anlage. Der Strand Abschnitt war sehr sauber. Leider gab es zu wenig Liegestühle, bzw. wurden diese schon von den Pensionisten noch vor Sonnen Aufgang mit Handtüchern reserviert. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Außerhalb der Anlage waren rundherum Restaurants, 7eleven, Bankomat und der Markt. Das Essen war eigentlich überall sehr gut. Haben uns diesbezüglich an Google Bewertungen orientiert. Die Ausflüge die wir vorab gebucht hatten waren im Hotel gleich vom Preis.

- elegant designte Liegen- und Poollandschaft (teils Liegen in langer Reihe zum Strand und in hinterer Reihe Liegen in und an den Pools) - großzügige Frühstücksauswahl (es gab sogar 4 unterschiedliche pflanzliche Milchalternativen) - wir hatten einen Bungalow mit Jacuzzi gebucht, jedoch funktionierte das heiße Wasser hierfür die ersten 2 Tage leider nicht, sodass wir zum 3. Tag in einen neuen Bungalow gezogen sind. Dort funktionierte alles wunderbar. Kompensiert wurde dies mit einem fairen Discount auf die Schlussrechnung. - super nettes Personal, das stets freundlich gegrüßt hat - Bettwäsche hatte geringfügig wahrnehmbare Flecken

We had a truly fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options to start the day right, and the amenities were absolutely fantastic, we had everything we needed and more. A special thanks to K. Snow at the front desk for going above and beyond during our check-in. Even though our booking wasn’t yet in the system, she made sure everything was arranged quickly and smoothly, allowing us to check in early without any hassle. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out. We also want to give a big shout out to K. Nat from the recreation team. She made sure we had a great time during the activities, always cheering us on during bowling and checking in on us while we played badminton to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Every time we passed by someone, they greeted us with a smile, which made us feel truly valued and at home. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel on my next holiday. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay!

A Disappointing Stay, Lacking the Thai Hospitality I've Come to Expect I have been a returning guest at this hotel over the past three years, having stayed more than ten times. Unfortunately, my recent visit was particularly disappointing. The check-in and check-out process continues to be a major source of frustration. The staff at the reception desk lacked the warmth and ”Thai smile” that guests expect. The atmosphere felt less like a welcoming experience and more like an intimidating one. I believe it would significantly improve the guest experience to have more Thai staff on the reception team, not the Filipino mafia. While the rooms are generally acceptable, I was disappointed to find that ongoing renovations meant the best rooms were unavailable. I am grateful that I only booked one night. The basic breakfast was good, and I must commend the Karkinos restaurant for its beautiful ambiance and excellent food. A significant issue during my stay was the power outage from 1:00 AM to 4:30 AM, which left the room without air conditioning. I had to make several calls to staff before learning that a power pole was down. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of apology or acknowledgment from the reception staff upon checkout. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay due to the ongoing issues with the front desk staff and the poorly handled power outage.

Marriott Khao Lak is a wonderful hotel that's ideal for both families and business travelers. I've personally used it for both purposes and highly recommend it. Here’s what makes it stand out: * Welcoming Staff: The staff is friendly, professional, and makes you feel right at home. * Big, Clean Rooms: The rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and very comfortable. * Fantastic Breakfast: They offer a fantastic breakfast with a huge variety of delicious options. * Great Swimming Pools: The pools are amazing—perfect for a swim or just lounging by the water. Overall, it's a great choice and I would definitely stay there again.

A snug and cosy boutique hotel. The staff are rather spectacular, very helpful and the food (dinner) is so yummy! Also very conveniently located although the road noise can be a little deafening as the hotel is located right on the main road.

The hotel is very beautiful with a great atmosphere. The layout of each zone is well organized. I stayed here for two nights during a long weekend, and the place was quite crowded since many guests came at the same time. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service from check-in to check-out. Parking space is limited, but guests can park outside the hotel and use the shuttle service provided. The room was spacious with a large bed. I chose the room with direct pool access — it was amazing! The bathroom was separated into wet and dry zones, and all the amenities were fully provided. There was even a capsule coffee machine for guests — excellent! The air conditioning system is digital, and there’s also a ceiling fan. Two key cards are provided. The hotel has a fitness room for guests, and there’s a bar by the beach which is perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. However, I have a few complaints: the room was quite dusty — when I wiped the table, there was dust on my hand. The pillows, blanket, and bedsheets had a musty smell, as if they hadn’t fully dried. Also, breakfast time felt a bit chaotic because guests had to wait in line, and there were times when plates, spoons, and glasses weren’t restocked quickly enough. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with just a few small issues that could be improved
