PPaul_HKBeautiful location and hotel grounds are absolutely stunning. On the surface the rooms look good but they are a bit dated with some impractical features and water was dripping from the AC vent. The toilet is semi private which is a bit strange - it sort of connects with the shower area which is not ideal when you are with your partner. Also there are no wardrobe doors even though the shower area is right next to it. The staff are generally nice and friendly but service is very average for a hotel of this nature compared to other boutique hotels, with staff constantly forgetting things from food or drinks orders at the restaurant. Flexibility of breakfast was fantastic though and in general the food was excellent. Encountered some issues with room service on our first evening which were resolved promptly the following day. End of stay was disappointing - we appreciated the hotel were able to extend our check-out by 2 hours to 2pm (and able to use a shower room to get changed later in the day), but they made it abundantly clear that if we wanted the room to 7pm then we would have to pay for another half-day occupancy even though the hotel was definitely not full. If the hotel was at full capacity, we would have completely understood the situation. It all felt a bit ‘budget’ from a 5 star hotel. To make matters worse, during a rainy and cool afternoon, we ended up killing time on sun-beds on the beach before we could use the their shower room. The bizarre thing was that the shower room turned out to be a different guest room identical to the one we had been staying in. Surely it would have been easier to let us stay in our original room for a few extra hours, it would also have saved the hotel from having to clean two rooms. Given that we had arrived very late on the first night, it was not like we were trying to take advantage of them and maximise our stay - we were just killing time ahead of our evening flight. It was all quite a weird end and so not sure we’d go back or recommend this hotel even though the setting is incredibly beautiful. There is a lot of communication provided about the ethos of excellent hospitality while staying in the hotel. This specific action and policy seemed in opposition to these communicated values.

The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options to start the day right, and the amenities were absolutely fantastic, we had everything we needed and more. A special thanks to K. Snow at the front desk for going above and beyond during our check-in. Even though our booking wasn’t yet in the system, she made sure everything was arranged quickly and smoothly, allowing us to check in early without any hassle. Her professionalism and kindness really stood out. We also want to give a big shout out to K. Nat from the recreation team. She made sure we had a great time during the activities, always cheering us on during bowling and checking in on us while we played badminton to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Every time we passed by someone, they greeted us with a smile, which made us feel truly valued and at home. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel on my next holiday. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing stay!

PPlum31Moracea has a really good location on one of the most picturesque resort beaches in Khao Lak. The rooms are decent, though the resort may be starting to show its age a bit. The only issue we had with our rooms were truly poor pillow quality. We ended up swapping to the lounger pillows and throwing the cases on them instead. The resort seems to have handled the issue many other reviewers mention about people booking sun loungers way in advance and leaving them ”vacant” for hours. If you're out around 7-9am, you ought to find a nice seat by the beach. Even later would still work. We had some terrific service in general at Moracea. Staff seemed hospitable and friendly, even by Thai standards. We did feel that restaurants and bars could certainly be improved in general, but not at all related to the staff. The food quality for dinner/lunch was really bland, and we opted to eat out every meal aside from a nice breakfast (which had plenty of variety for our tastes). We would certainly book again.

RRamona AntoniaDie Villa war wunderschön genauso wie der Rest der gesamten Hotel Anlage. Der Strand Abschnitt war sehr sauber. Leider gab es zu wenig Liegestühle, bzw. wurden diese schon von den Pensionisten noch vor Sonnen Aufgang mit Handtüchern reserviert. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Außerhalb der Anlage waren rundherum Restaurants, 7eleven, Bankomat und der Markt. Das Essen war eigentlich überall sehr gut. Haben uns diesbezüglich an Google Bewertungen orientiert. Die Ausflüge die wir vorab gebucht hatten waren im Hotel gleich vom Preis.

Phòng tập tuy nhỏ nhưng tôi hoàn toàn thích khăn lạnh có mùi nấm trong tủ lạnh - một sự ấm lạnh như vậy !!! Nhưng phòng của tôi có mùi ẩm ướt, không được dễ chịu lắm, trong khi phòng bạn tôi ở có mùi tuyệt vời. Ngoài ra, sau khi bơi, tôi khá bụi và đến ga khăn tắm bên hồ bơi, nhưng chỉ có ly và không có nước uống. Tôi hỏi nhân viên ở đó, nhưng cô ấy có vẻ không nói tiếng Anh, điều này khiến giao tiếp hơi khó. PPithita M.The hotel is very beautiful with a great atmosphere. The layout of each zone is well organized. I stayed here for two nights during a long weekend, and the place was quite crowded since many guests came at the same time. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service from check-in to check-out. Parking space is limited, but guests can park outside the hotel and use the shuttle service provided. The room was spacious with a large bed. I chose the room with direct pool access — it was amazing! The bathroom was separated into wet and dry zones, and all the amenities were fully provided. There was even a capsule coffee machine for guests — excellent! The air conditioning system is digital, and there’s also a ceiling fan. Two key cards are provided. The hotel has a fitness room for guests, and there’s a bar by the beach which is perfect for relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. However, I have a few complaints: the room was quite dusty — when I wiped the table, there was dust on my hand. The pillows, blanket, and bedsheets had a musty smell, as if they hadn’t fully dried. Also, breakfast time felt a bit chaotic because guests had to wait in line, and there were times when plates, spoons, and glasses weren’t restocked quickly enough. Overall, it was a wonderful stay with just a few small issues that could be improved
