Easily accessible from the Kollam Theni highway; it is one of the few fine dining restaurants in Kottayam town. The white structure looks more like a Manor. The restaurant typically has an English background with pictures of royal family members all around. Furniture and fittings are ornately done in red and gold to match the British era. Staff are very polite and soft spoken minus the stiff British upper lip. If you tend to enjoy a traditional banana leaf meal while travelling this is not the place but those who enjoy non vegetarian dishes in an English ambience may relish the experience. Washrooms can be dirty and damp marring the outward opulence of the hotel. Buttermilk with traditional spices was enjoyable. Pista ice cream though not inhouse was refreshing too. Special mention to the courteous lady staff who politely accomodated our requests.

Good, decent stay. Stayed for three nights. Pirates club a restraunt and bar is worth visiting. Rooms are tidy and clean

We stayed at the Windsor Castle hotel for my niece's wedding. The hotel and gardens were a beautiful wedding venue, with trees and flowers everywhere! The rooms were very comfortable and quiet, with great views. We enjoyed our meals at the restaurant, where the attentive staff helped us learn about the delicious Indian foods on their menu. The best part of our stay was the hotel staff! Everyone, from the front desk team to the bellmen to the housekeeping staff, made us feel welcome, well-cared for, and like we were very special guests. We had a wonderful stay!

This hotel is not deserving of even a single star review. Our experience with the hotel and staff was absolutely terrible. The worst part was the pool water, which was never changed and the washrooms were extremely dirty. It was clear that they had not been cleaned. When we brought this up to the staff, they were yelling at each other and refused to take responsibility. Not only was the hotel experience bad, but after using the pool, 18 of us suffered severe health issues. When we informed the staff, they did not respond well at all. I highly recommend avoiding the Windsor Castle hotel to avoid risking your health.

Took a one day package with my friends. We had the worst experience in the swimming pool.. I think they have not properly cleaned that pool since one year. Firstly the pool is not safe, it has no grab bars, tles are that much slippery, watermosses were present in the pool. We the entire group got skin rashes. They had given a worst place to change the dress, in that area we found a dead chameleon . When we tried to raise oir concerns about the pool and changing area, the front office excecutive (male staff) was laughing at us and have a bad attitude. Even after the 2 days of our trip still some people in our group have the rashes in there body. When we were talking about the pool issues , the other group of people who entered alomg with us in the pool also came and asked him regarding the water change in the pool... Everyone who has not entered the pool is having health issues. I will not recommend anyone this place due to this issues

Overall look is good. But i had a worst experience their. We went together with our colleagues. We spend more time in swimming pool in the afternoon. After that we all got itching and rashes all over our body. The swimming pool was not clean. Its not cleaning on a routine basis. When we discussed this regarding the managers over their, they laugh at us. Customer service was very poor. We all had vomiting, severe abdominal pain and headache. Two of us were admitted in the hospital..... Very terrible experience

I booked for lake side cottage. Only after reaching there i realised bathroom was open roof type and i informed we are not comfortable with open roof toilet. Immediately they allotted another suite room. I'm happy with that fast response and service

We had a very hard time getting a room even though our reservation was confirmed. Although check in was stated for 2 p. M, it took them over two hours to get us a room - we got one well after 4 p. M! what makes the experience worse was that we were twice allocated a room which was already allocated to other people. It was a very odd experience going to the room and finding people already in there
