We really enjoyed the Meliá Resort. The service is high and nothing is too much. The resort and rooms are clean. Very extensive breakfast buffet, which is constantly replenished. It is located in a pleasant street, with some restaurants & massage salons. You can reach Chaweng and Fisherman Village in 10 minutes by taxi! Plenty of taxis in the street at the Melia resort! Only downside; Many guests lay down towels at the pool & beach. Fortunately, the staff keeps a close eye on this. Melia resort should purchase more beach beds & umbrellas. Employee Baw in particular is a really great host at the pool & beach! He makes sure you don't miss anything!

Boat houses are okay but room with pool access are Black Moskito hole . Never again

The resort is amazing! Great amenities as well. I loved the boat suite setup. Above all, the staff were extremely hospitable. From the porters, buggy drivers, waiters etc..everyone greets guests with a smile and always ensure you’re okay. Highly recommend to those looking for a family resort or even a sociable hotel! It was lively and beautiful! The breakfast service at the lobby was really great. There was a good spread for the buffet with a la carte items available and catered per requests as well.

The best stay in the best hotel with the best staff… we had a swim up room which gave us access to the level lounge which was incredible.. recommend recommend recommended

Amazing Melia with a great location and very clean environment, rooms , and service . The area around the pool and the beach is pretty cool , so is the breakfast 😍

We were supposed to stay two nights at Melia Samui, but we had such a great checkin thanks to Rita that we immediately extended our stay with 7 more days. We also consider staying 10 more days, a total of 19 nights :) All the employees of the hotel are extremely professional and make you feel at home. We were there with our 7 months old baby and felt that this hotel is very safe regarding covid and hygiene. I also have to mention the amazing breakfast and the nice food at the Breeza beach restaurant. Always very fresh and well prepared. The price is a bit higher than a local restaurant behind the hotel, but the view is exceptional and the food is great made with prenium ingredients. We definitely come back with our family.

Nice hotel. Bathroom a bit small but beautifully decorated. The bed was ok..would prefer it to be softer. Very good breakfast. Affordable 5 stars. The only thing we didn’t like about this hotel was the loud music playing by the pool and it was busier than any other 5 star hotels we stayed on this trip. We won’t be back again because we like peace and quiet by the beach but this hotel was very loud. Good for young people and the pools are nice for family with kids.

Because we enjoyed the first 4 days, we opted to stay for 4 extra nights in the same resort :) Overall excellent choice on Koh Samui!
