It’s been a week since I stayed here at the Explorar and I’m still thinking about the incredible breakfast! On arrival, the team were so friendly and accommodating. During check in we were served a fresh cool jasmine scented face towel accompanied by a young coconut and some local coconut rum. It was such a nice touch. The room was very lovely and the facilities were excellent. We stayed in the private plunge pool room and it was a great addition. The location is very convenient. We were able to book two scooters at the hotel to use during the stay, which I highly recommend. The hotel pool and bar are not to be missed.

If you're looking for peace and quiet this is the place for you! Adult only hotel The hotel is beautiful Great breakfast Great service The only downside is that you can't really walk anywhere so you have to take a taxi/use the hotel shuttles. It's only 5 minutes drive from fisherman village so if you're planning to take a motorbike it doesn't matter.

Honestly, impeccable- book here! Everything about this resort is luxe, clean and professional, there was no fault in our stay. Breakfast is amazing, so many options like western, Thai, pastries, coconuts. Attention to detail in the welcome drinks and treats left in the room. Complimentary shuttle service into town. Restaurant is pricey but delicious and the cocktails are great. There is construction work atm but it wasn’t too bothersome. Lovely to have space carved out for only adults and so the vibe is very relaxed. Service was impeccable by every single staff member we came across. The bed and linen quality will make you never want to leave your bed. Would def book again and recommend.

Adults only, oceanfront dining, long pool with a pool bar, and a bunch of free activities make this hotel one to revisit!

The very top of the line Hotel during all our trip in thailand.. staff is friendly as ever. The hotel is a great mix of design and trees. The swimming pool is just perfect. Is simply the very best i’ve ever tried. Needless to say i will miss that great place. One of the nicest hotel I’ve been around the globe. And the no kid policy is just brilliant! A++++++++++

Great hotel. 5* is a stretch — 4*S is closer. The hotel is clean and modern. However, the rooms haven’t been upgraded since it’s opening in 2016 or so. Nothing too bad, but for a 5* hotel it shows. The gym is good but could also use an upgrade (smith machine, KBs, spinning bikes instead of the old school stationary bikes). The prices for drinks are ridiculous. Absolutely overpriced, even for a 5* hotel. The breakfast buffet ist probably the best I’ve seen in the past years — in all of SEA.

The hotel room is spacious and clean. The location is very good as it is directly link to the beach. The top service is great and quick, and the worker can speak good English.

I think there is always some apprehension when visiting somewhere for the first time, so when arriving at Explorar Koh Samui it was a relief how we quickly relaxed and felt at ease. Can’t be more appreciative of the staff and the hospitality shown to us. Rooms are bright, clean and well kept. Breakfast options are in abundance and range from super healthy to little sweet indulgences. Big thank you to the management team, Jan for showing us around and giving us the opportunity to stay in a pool ocean front villa, pure indulgence to say the least, and to Adam and Tim for your company at Friday afternoons pool party where the DJ set was on point😛. Luxurious yet minimalist, chilled and unpretentious, we will definitely be returning to Explorar Koh Samui.
