Nice place for vacation. It has private beach, a pool and spa. The dinner buffet needs an improvement.

The hotel is situated at a beautiful location just opposite of the beach. Amazing view, amazing cleanliness and such a great area inside and outside the hotel. The staff always ready to help you and always with a smile. Very nice rooms and an excellent breakfast.

Nice resort, great staff snd great amenities , beach bar and beach area very private for guests. Room was large and super clean. The grounds snd location was perfectly positioned being alittle away from central

The location is very nice and the view is great. Unfortunately the rooms in the main building are old but renovated and I didn't really like mine. There were wonderful bungalows around the main building! Breakfast was average with no variety, and there was no espresso or cappuccino. There was a parking lot available for the guests, and we had no problem (although some guests think that they own the space and couldn't park properly!)

Hotel: I found the description of this hotel confusing, it was probably just me! The plot is essentially long and narrow (ish) sloping upwards from the sea. From turning in from the road there is a long car park. From the car park there is a set of steps with ramp alternative. The reception and breakfast area and conference centre is the main building with some rooms sited above. Then further back accessed via a set of steps/longer ramp into the site are two storey blocks of bedrooms, the pool area and the massage room. There is no gym. The incline from the pool area into the back of the site where most of the rooms is sited is generally gradual with intermittent steps and slope alternative. Across the road from the hotel is their Costa Costa beach bar and access to a cove area with sun beds. This can be access via a pedestrian crossing or through a short subway/lift. Room We had booked a superior room for 2 adults and a 10 yr old. On check in we were allocated a bungalow to give us more room. From previous experience we knew this word means something else in Greece than in the UK. We were given a bedroom on the first floor of one of the standalone blocks. The main bed was king size with a comfortable mattress. Our child had a prepared single camp bed. The room came with a small balcony, the area allowed 2 chairs, a small table and stool. The depth, for reference, was slightly greater than the external element of an air conditioning unit. Our room had a lovely sea view, I think most rooms would have similar as the all seem to face west. The balcony door and bathroom window were both fitted with separate insect ‘shutters’ do you can have your balcony door open and not have to worry about little insects flying in etc. The main door to our room was accessed from outside, like a motel. These faced in an easterly direction. The reason for highlighting this is that the lock you need to pull to close your door is metal and bakes in the morning sun. When we would go to leave for breakfast at 9 (during the heatwave) it was too hot to touch. The air conditioning was excellent and the rooms also had a ceiling fan. Sound proofing was very good. Food We were on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast was fresh, of generally good quality but never varied. Personally I wouldn’t eat the sliced fresh fruit left on a side board due to the presence of fruit flies in the room but I would appear to have been in the minority. There was a fresh fruit salad alternative in the fridge area. I didn’t have any of the fried breakfast items but was told that they were often tepid/cold. It was a matter of luck wrt whether you were there when they came out. I would say most of the guests were Greek so there wasn’t the same level of demand for such breakfast items which probably explains this slower turnover/risk of cold food. If you are looking to book this hotel I hope this review serves you well. Please read on. This Hotel is on Jet 2 UK website as we booked it through them. Rooms * Clean rooms * BEWARE Sizes between Superior and executive are the same just different view, mini bar, and an espresso machine so don't think your getting a bigger room. * Room facilities are better the more you spend on the room, for example we booked a superior room and it was a side room with a partial sea view. No fridge, no tea and coffee making facilities. A room upgrade to an executive suite room meant a frontal sea view room with a large balcony, an espresso coffee machine, a mini bar that was topped up daily. This came at a price tho, 400 euro extra and we stayed for 10 nights equating to an extra 40 euro a day. This Hotel has alot of European Market guests, we only found one other English speaking couple today while here, while our German friends may be happy with certain types of breakfast, us Brits are different... Food - half board meals - not a great deal of choice on both breakfast and tea, Breakfast was cold and I was there as soon as it opened, fried eggs cold, poor bacon small pieces cold, horrible sausage cold, no mushrooms, no beans, no tomatoes, no hash browns, no fried bread, however this is coming from someone that likes a full english breakfast, if cereal, paistries, fresh fruit, no baked beans, mushrooms, etc etc and the former suit you then this will serve you well , the hotel could offer chips on the evening meal menu, fries for example in both the main resteraunt and pool bar, that would make things different. The pool bar food menu is limited, the introduction (@Hotel) of burger and chips/fries and pizzas, hot dogs, Gyros would make a massive difference and transform this hotel + see more jet2 uk customers booking here. Like I said, this is my review as an English man and what English people want when they come on holiday. This Hotel evening meal & pool.side bar food needs improvement by someone that knows what Tourists want, especially if they want to appeal to UK trade. The hotel is in a remote location, nothing around it, no mini Market close, restraunts anything so if you want anything and i mean anything such as waater and nit having to pay £1.50 for a bottle of water at tea time to take back to your room you need to listen tonwhat i am saying here and go fet.your own, hire a car or get a taxi to the town center and stock up rather than have to buy the basics of water and anything else cos there's no decent mini markets close at all to this place. Bring your own kettle, tea bags, sugar this is a must (remember this). Pool bar staff are lovely, Reception staff courteous & professional. Hotel itself is brilliant with ground floor lift to all floors and for me the only thing that let it down was the food in both half board and poolside menu and breakfast. This is a beautiful hotel in a spectacular setting but very isolated no shops for a long distance there’s some tavernas about 15 mins walk but nothing else. Pool area lovely and pool bar the private beach is very small and pebbles and accessed by a load of steps there a tunnel under the road and lift but was worse than using the road crossing . The bungalows we stayed in were ok but very dated bathrooms were worn out and smelled of sewerage. Bed was rock hard my hips ached all week. I’m disabled and struggled to walk around as slope and steps everywhere. The worse thing was the food breakfast was fine but cold egg & bacon over cooked eggs just so cold had to ask for it to be warmed up . Evening meal for 4 days was al a carte but only two choices always half cold so they let us order off the bar menu then we had a buffet on 3 days which was the worse buffet I’ve ever had food sitting bothered half cold and very unappealing yuk . Desert consisted of melon and choc cake such a very poor choice for a 4 star hotel. Staff were excellent and one girl stood out Eleni I think her name was she went above& beyond to help us . We hired a car for two days as nothing around to look at . All in all a lovely place but food and keeping it hot needs massive improvement.

Large hotel with good parking, caters to tour groups on lower floors but we had a high room with very good views over the sea, very good breakfast buffet included. Convenient to own beach and restaurants with bar and restaurants in the hotel.

Stayed at Akti Taygetos twice in the last two years. It's an excellent hotel located just outside Kalamata, on the coastline of Mikri Matineia. Modern and spacious rooms. Pool, or its own seside access and restaurant-bar. Professional staff, courteous and always at your attention. If you are looking for an accomodation in Kalamata I definitely recommend. Will visit again next year.

The resort as aspected friendly staf Room clean and toilet very clean The pillows very hard and did not aspect this from this new hotel the breakfast as per protocol but pelepones has very good products why they. Serve honey from mount olympos and not from nearby ,the employees where very shaking when I give the report I believe they are not used to comments, also the staf was very correct in handling cash or cc card

We visited this place in early summer 2022! It’s a Very nice place with comfortable rooms, amazing view and very good breakfast. The staff is kind! I definitely suggest this place to couples and families.

We had really good time. The room was clean and big with comfortable bed. The view of the sea and the gardens was beautiful. We tried local dishes in the breakfast and dinner. The staff was friendly and helped us a lot carrying luggage and suggested nice things to do in Kalamata and Mani. I would go again!

Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ άνετο, μοντέρνο και καθαρό. Τα κρεβάτια προσέφεραν καλή ποιότητα ύπνου και το κλιματιστικό το καλύτερο και πιο αθόρυβο!!! Στα μείον το γεγονός ότι ενώ το check in είναι στις 15.00 και παρόλο που πήγαμε στις 17.00 το δωμάτιο ακόμα δεν ήταν έτοιμο και περιμέναμε περίπου 20 λέπρα για να μεταφέρουν τις αποσκευές μας. Τέλος στη reception υπήρχαν κάποιες κοπέλες που δεν ήταν ευγενικές και χαμογελαστός κατά το check in,στοιχεία που προσέχει κάποιος νέος πελάτης. Το πρωινό πολύ ικανοποιητικό.Υπεροχος ο χώρος απεναντι από το ξενοδοχείο με θεα το ηλιοβασίλεμα για ποτό και ευγενέστατη το προσωπικό εκεί!

Magnifique endroit, fleuri, très agréable. Bungalow tout confort, climatisation individuelle qui ne fonctionne que lorsqu’on est dans la chambre et ventilateur de plafond. Fenêtre dans les toilettes, balcon aménagé. Piscine surveillée à côté du bar restaurant snack (cher par contre par rapport aux prix en ville). Petit déjeuner avec du salé et du sucré, qualité fait maison, des fruits secs, confitures… en intérieur ou sous véranda ouverte. Prêt de serviettes de piscine qui peuvent être changées tous les 48h. Grand parking gratuit. Bar de plage de l’autre côté de la route très sympa, en hauteur par rapport au niveau de la mer. Plage privée non testée. Pour dîner, plein de petites tavernes en bord de mer en sortant de l’hôtel vers la gauche. J’y reviendrai très volontiers.
