Great place to fish, swim or just relax on our 45x15’ screened-in porch overlooking fenced yard, perfect for enjoying a view of the spectacular sunrises or sunsets over the lake. The expansive porch runs the width of the home and has 2 tables with total seating for 10, a 2-seater porch swing, recliner, 3 ceiling fans and gas grill. Gather around the tables to share a meal with family or friends or relish in the scenic solitude by simply listening to the lapping of the water. Two of the bedrooms have private entries to the porch, along with direct views of the water. Master bedroom has a king bed, second bedroom has a queen bed and third bedroom has 2 twin beds. Two blow up mattresses are available for extra sleeping capacity. Each bedroom has a TV for streaming. The house has two full bathrooms, washer/dryer and wireless internet. The fully equipped kitchen with dual oven is great for preparing freshly-caught meals for a night in or any other meals you enjoy. House has 2 refrigerators (with one having an ice maker) to hold all your delicacies. If you prefer not to cook, take a leisurely walk to the Six Mile Marina about a 1/4 mile away (summer months only) or drive to the Sportsman Cafe less than a mile away for breakfast, lunch or dinner (open year round).For younger guests, enjoy swings and slides at the park a short distance away on Highway 87 South. Pots, pans, crockpot, air fryer, pizza oven, and everything you might need to cook full meals, quick snacks, and a gas grill is furnished. Located right over the Pendleton Bridge on the Texas side and very close to the Lake House restaurant and Lost Frontier restaurant, fishing pier & beach, and Fisherman’s Galley if you don’t feel like cooking. A short drive to Hemphill and Toledo Town for great BBQ at Hemphill BBQ & homemade pies, groceries, banking, and across the street from Keith’s Bait & tackle for fishing supplies. Our SPACIOUS Barndominium is a gorgeous 3,800 sq. ft. Lake House, built in 2017 and located on 3 acres overlooking Toledo Bend Reservoir. Our Barndo sleeps 17 in beds and has additional space for air mattresses or sleeping bags (not provided). We also have a full size crib and a high chair for guests traveling with a baby. It is perfect for gathering friends and family in one place for holidays, fishing, reunions, etc. Nightly rate applies to 16 guests. Additional fee applies for more than 16 guests. We have a double deep, double wide carport with electricity for parking and charging your boat. While there is no direct access to the water from the Barndo, we are very conveniently located between three boat ramps, only ~1 mile in either direction from our property (Newell’s, Captains Fishing Place, and Holly Park Marina). Holly Park Marina allows free shore fishing and swimming from their boat launch area, 1 mile from our property. If you want to fish from their pier, you can go inside to register. It’s $5.00 a car load. You will pass Holly Park just before the Patroon Creek Bridge on your way to our property. They also have a grill that is open from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm daily.Red Hills Lake is a short drive from our property (~ 5 miles) and offers swimming and fishing on a picturesque 19-acre lake that is stocked with bass, bream, and catfish.
