Our new home has 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, each one is like its own master suite. Take a soak in our hot tub or enjoy the night sky around the firepit. Enjoy the 14 foot bi-folding patio door that oversees the gorgeous mountain ranges in Kanab. Get much needed rest on our high-quality mattresses. High speed internet is included with your stay making it the perfect place for remote work. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook anything. The outdoor space is unmatched with a playground, corn hole, firepit, hot tub and outdoor table. This cozy house was named after the desert tortoise found in Southern Utah. We are located between several national parks, Zions, Bryce Canyon, Northern Rim of the Grand Canyon (open from May to October) and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. In addition, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is located within a 15-minute drive. There are also plenty of hikes located in and around Kanab, including the world famous “The Wave” hike. Our favorite is the Moqui Cave hike. Imagine exploring any one of these beautiful locations and coming back and taking a soak in our hot tub or enjoying yourself around the campfire looking at the stars. There is plenty of parking in the 2-car garage for your car and any toy you bring. Kanab has access to OHV, ATV, hikes and biking. A gravel RV pad is located next to the house available for your use. Located in each room is a smart TV so you can watch all of your favorite shows from your favorite streaming service. The great room is anchored around the spacious fully-equipped kitchen with a dining area that seats up to 16 guests (1 dining table seating 8, 4 seats at the bar, a table for 4 in the breakfast nook) and open floor plan access to the well-appointed living room that looks onto K-hill. The master suite has a king bed, flat screen TV, walk-in closet, and en suite bathroom with a jetted tub, separate shower, double vanity, and water closet. The 1st main floor bedroom has a king bed, electric fireplace, flat screen TV, and direct view of K-hill. The 2nd main floor bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen TV, and unique hidden closet behind the bookcase. The full bathroom sits between the two main floor bedrooms.LOWER LEVEL The lower level includes the ultimate old west entertainment space, 4 bedrooms, a full-bathroom, and laundry room.The entertainment space has been affectionately named the Little Hollywood Saloon. It includes a bar, game table, full theatre room, a prison-cell playroom under the stairs all tastefully decorated in an old west theme inspired by the many western movies filmed in Kanab. The 1st lower level bedroom includes a king bed, sitting chair, and flat screen TV. The 2nd lower level bedroom includes a king bed, sitting chair, and flat screen TV. The 3rd lower level bedroom includes 2 sets of bunk beds. One is a full over full and the other is a twin over twin.Lower Level Bonus hidden room has a full over full bunk bed but will be converted to a room with a pull out couch soon. Please don't plan on this room having more than a pull out couch. If you stay before it is converted it will have the full over full bunk. We need to change this room to be compliant with Kanab City fire code. It is not a legal bedroom. It will be changed early next spring. The full bathroom includes a large shower and double vanity all finished to the theme of the rest of the basement.OUTDOOR SPACES The outdoor patio is the perfect place for a barbeque and then roasting marshmallows around the fire. There is an awesome turf volleyball court in the backyard.
