We had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay.
We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi.
We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier.

This hotel was good except for the disappointment about the gym. We booked this hotel specifically out of others in kangding as it was written on booking that the hotel offers a gym. We are on a training program and need a gym. When we arrived and asked about the gym they said that the gym had not been opened yet. When I asked why they advertise themselves as hotel with a gym the response was “we used to have a gym, now it’s under renovation because some of the equipment is out of use”, and when I asked if I still could use what equipment that was working, the response was simply no and that I can go to an outdoor exercise area outside in the freezing cold. So rude! Except for this the hotel was totally fine, nice rooms and good breakfast. Just don’t advertise what you don’t have online, it leaves costumers dissatisfied even if the rest was good.

Ông chủ rất nhiệt tình và giúp đỡ hành lý. Chỗ ở và chỗ đậu xe không dễ tìm. Phòng rộng, có sưởi ấm và chăn điện, đầy đủ tiện nghi sinh hoạt. Tuy nhiên, phải đun nước tắm rất lâu. , và một người phải đợi rất lâu để người kia giặt xong. Mọi thứ khác đều khá tốt. Gần đường chính và không quá xa để đi bộ để ăn.

Chúng tôi tình cờ ghé thăm Dartsedo (hay thường xuyên được biết là Kanding) vào tháng 10, vào dịp lễ quốc gia lớn. Vì vậy, thị trấn đầy đủ khách du lịch từ đất liền. Khách sạn ban đầu của chúng tôi đã từ chối đặt phòng của chúng tôi và hostel này là một trong những lựa chọn rất ít. Chúng tôi đã đặt tổng cộng 3 phòng.
Có rất nhiều điều tốt để nói về nhà trọ này. Chủ sở hữu và các cô nhân viên rất tốt và siêu hữu ích. Họ đã chấp nhận giặt túi quần áo du lịch của chúng tôi trong các cơ sở miễn phí, điều này rất tốt bụng. Các phòng là những gì có thể mong đợi từ loại chỗ ở này và để đặt phòng vào phút cuối cùng. Tất cả đều được bố trí rất đẹp như những gì chúng tôi mong đợi cho một nhà trọ và bộ đồ giường rất sạch sẽ. Về điểm trừ, nhưng chúng tôi biết đó là một vấn đề chung với thị trấn - không có bãi đậu xe cho hostel và nói chung rất khó tìm chỗ đậu xe ở thị trấn này. Và hostel ở tầng 3, nên các bạn nên chuẩn bị xách hành lý lên cầu thang.

I booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive.
So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city.
The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones.
I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information.
One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C!
The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

服務真的吹爆！前台多爾桑小哥熱情又貼心，幫忙提行李、介紹景點太周到啦！房間太舒服了～藏式佈置風格獨特，床品乾淨柔軟，晚上特別安靜，一覺睡到自然醒。
位置超方便，停車免費還有充電樁（太適合自駕電車的小夥伴了）。酒店設施齊全，衞生細節到位，連走廊都散發著淡淡的藏香～

We really enjoyed our time at Tuoma Homestay. The rooms were clean, cosy and had a nice local feel. It’s a peaceful place that gives you a real sense of the area.
What made it special was how welcoming and thoughtful the host was. We always felt well looked after and it made travelling here so much easier and more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a comfortable place with kind people and an authentic atmosphere, Tuoma Homestay is a great choice.
