We used this hotel due to the close proximity of the wedding venue, but in all honesty wished I used another hotel. No Parking, had to find somewhere aprox 10 mins walk away, whilst carrying several cases. The staff at reception were friendly enough however, as for the rudeness of the security guard he was awful, sat at the front of the reception area on his mobile phone, very unprofessional. He seriously needs training on dealing with people face to face. The bar staff said it is open until 1am, this was not the case, we arrived for a wedding and were in the bar, was informed another member of staff would be coming back to the bar @ 11pm, after waiting 15 mins we were then advised that this would not be happening as apparently there was either lack of staff or an issue with the internet, and there would be no further drinks available. over the course of the weekend we had trouble with the entry cards, which had to be activated several times. Breakfast. Baked beans not turned on hence very cold, and had to ask a member of staff to heat up a bowl of them. Toaster broke, so a small toaster had to sorted out, there was a bowl of salt placed near the fruit and this looked like sugar which a member of our party actually used in their tea and was disgusting. If you are going to place something on the serving table please ensure it is labelled correctly. The coffee machine wasn't always working properly, and didn't give you a full cup of coffee. The rooms were ok, lack of toiletries which you used to get in hotels, We will not be using travel lodge every again
