Recently, I had a delightful experience at Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani. The check-in was impressively swift, complemented by the warm and friendly staff. Although my room was not the largest and overlooked a parking lot, it hardly mattered given the island’s ubiquitous beauty. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional customer service, evident across all areas from the pool to the reception and especially the valet service. A standout mention must go to RJ, whose personal touch, remembering my name and details, added greatly to the experience. His warmth and friendliness could turn any bad day around. A note for future guests: the hotel is near its sister property, which can be confusing, and the designated Uber/Lyft area is behind the hotel, not in front. This caused a slight mix-up upon arrival. The hotel’s gym was fantastic for workouts. Although my stay was shorter than desired, the overall experience was so positive that I’m inclined to return and would definitely recommend it.
