bit late review but couldnt find the dates where was summer 2022. Anyhow just to summarize this was an extremely lovely and fantastic stay whether from location, view, staff, rooms, scenery everything was magical and would definitely plan a visit soon

This was without question one of the most memorable resort experiences of my (well traveled) life. The scenery is breathtaking, the location is perfect and the resort service and amenities were absolutely top caliber. The lounge area will always be remembered as one of my best memories, as was the cigar room and of course taking a polar plunge in the (mid-October) frigid lake. The spa is more than adequate and the restaurant (the view!) is awesome. It’s close enough to drive into Salzburg daily (we did) and retreat to Schloss Fuschl to relax and enjoy. I will absolutely return to Schloss Fuschl and anxiously look forward to that day. it’s simply the best of the best.

I seldom write reviews unless the experience has been exceptionally bad or good. In this case, it's the latter. I had met with a minor car accident during my stay and the staff took extra effort to help connect with the relevant agencies to make alternative arrangements in what could have been a stressful experience. This was beyond their duties and would not have been expected if we were staying at other properties. I would like to express my special thanks to Mr Norbert the head concierge and the lady at the front desk whose name I forgot to ask for. The property is beautiful, food delightful but most importantly its the staff that make all the difference. My heartfelt appreciation and we hope to return.

An amazing location with a beautiful view on the Fuschl see. The rooms are completely new renovated and very elegant. We had an business offsite there and loved the water, nature and location. Unfortunately the service of the restaurant was extremely unfriendly and arrogant. Such an amazing location but ruined by an unfriendly restaurant manager who was shouting at his guest. An absolute no Go.

The hotel situated at the shores of lake fuschl and most rooms have rooms with soke sort of lake view. Once you enter the hotel, staff greets you with a wonderful smile and a nice welcoming drink. The rooms are well equipped and modern despite building being old. Mini bar gets refilled daily and it is complimentary. We got a room with a direct spectacular lake view and a small balcony. Breakfast id simple buffet, and delicious, I would say not much variety, but I would have quality over quantity everyday of the week. Staff of this hotel are the real asset, and they have been helpful and willing to go extra mile to make sure guests spends a wonderful time here. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and definitely would be back.

From the picturesque location to the buildings' architecture to the attentative, professional staff, our stay was outstanding. The hotel's restaurant is excellent; we observed it is where locals come for a special dinner. This property is about a half hour from downtown Salzburg and there is little local taxi service. If you don't have a car, ask the front desk to arrange a taxi for you in advance.

Over-priced, snobby, lacking in atmosphere no where near a 5 star S hotel standard. Impolite stuck-up receptionists Limited dining experience - only one „Hauben“ (?)restaurant open with one vegetarian dish Cold dining room and a Stiflingly, hot bedroom (despite regulating) Smoke smelling bar (and fitness room) Small pool and poorly equipped fitness room Nothing special for Valentine’s breakfast - not even a rose nor a glass of champagne! Although the next day we were offered one!

Stayed here to experience it before its closure for renovation. Nothing beats jumping into the crisp lake before breakfast as the fog pulls back onto the fir topped mountains surrounding this iconic hotel. Oh and the breakfast: simply amazing... Last but not least, a great team, first and foremost the Concierge, Mr. Strambach - thank you for everything and best of luck for the renovation, I look forward to returning!

We stayed at Schloss Fuschl during a recent trip in July to Germany and Austria. This hotel was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. The property and lakefront location are gorgeous and the service is impeccable. We travel extensively and would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling in and around Salzburg or the Salzkammergut region.

It's an amazing place to relax and dive into a luxury world without any worries. Staff are very friendly and will do anything to accommodate you.

We chose a lovely and expensive junior suite. Throughout our stay, renovations were carried out in the rooms above us, so that during the day between 10:00 and 17:00 we drilled and knocked over our heads. They did apologize for the noise and inconvenience but did not think to warn in advance or give us another room. The price of the rooms is very expensive and we would happily pay to get the peace and quiet that the place offers. In practice we tried not to be in the room. The compensation they offered us is shameful Rich and good breakfast, dinner in the hotel restaurant is highly recommended. Excellent massages at the spa.

Very disappointing was the lack of customer orientation and the weak communication skills of the head receptionist (both during a phone prior to the arrival as well as during check-in when requesting a complementary room upgrade). This which created an unnecessary negative impression - especially compared to other top/5 star hotels. Excellent service provided by others including lady at reception called Victoria. The gourmet castle restaurant food and service were exceptional - as well as the lake terrace and swimming area and service. The hotel infrastructure is excellent and we shall most likely return in the next weeks/months. this year. If requested I can share more details verbally with General Management on how a higher rating could be achieved.

A magnificent view, wonderful food, and great staff. Everyone wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and were especially attentive to my husband (who needs a cane to get around), We loved the natural beauty, the incredibly clear, clean lake water -- the clearest and cleanest lake I've EVER seen, and it was wonderful for swimming. It was a memorable stay ... and the staff is a major reason we'll return...they were the "icing on the cake"!
