Hotel staffs are very friendly and is a clean hotel. Amenities and furnishing are a little dated but location is near to a few restaurants, mart and bus stop. Right by the sea, so the view is really great.

A parte le stanze un po' vecchiotte (la moquette anni 80 in un hotel sul mare anche no, i bagni con rubinetteria decisamente vissuta) ed un servizio di check in e check out molto lento (per riferita colpa dei sistemi informatici, ma non saprei dire se è la norma o meno), l'hotel si merita in pieno le 4 stelle: hall moderna e ampia, piscina servita, spiaggia privata sufficientemente spaziosa, colazione estremamente fornita, anche per celiaci.

The hotel shouldn’t have Marriot name , it’s old dirty understaffed, in bad conditions is like being in a sinking boat. Worst marriot EVER

We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. The property is clean, but in need of some updating. The staff was wonderful, particularly Lorenzo and Giovanni at breakfast and William was helpful at check-in. The parking area is a short walk. We liked the fact that there were a number of restaurants/bars right across the street. In particular I would recommend O’Neils- amazing food and a fabulous family who runs it. The hotel has a very nice included breakfast with a chef cooking omelettes and eggs as well as great pastries.

The Hotel grounds were very Nice . The Guest expirience people were very froenndly. Id like to mention William as he was very helpful in making certain reservations and helping me with whatever i needed . The only complaint i have is that the rooms are very dated and could use spme renovating . The pool area was very nice although abit small for thecsize of the hotel .

We loved the workers at this hotel. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Especially the front desk people who printed out our boarding passes for Ryanair. They also tried to show us where to go for laundry and bank. (But don't go to the bank to change money, they won't.) The bartenders gave me ice for my meal replacement shakes. The maids were very sweet. Our only problems were we never figured out how to turn off the lamps in the room 1115, without unplugging all 3. And sometimes the food at the breakfast buffet seemed not so fresh. (whole milk, a ham or turkey cold cut, watermelon.) But you can have them cook an omelet, the pastries were yummy, and yogurt in jars great. We had a huge room with a balcony, the beach was in sight. The pool area, outside bar, lobby and beach area all were great when we were there for 6 days, beginning of October.

Spacious rooms. Lots of pillows, comfortable bed, outlets, full length mirror, coffe/tea, bolted safe and all the needs of a traveler in the room. Every room has a water front view and lovely balcony. The bus is ok if you like to wait but there were taxi’s outside continually who took us everywhere. The average charge to the marina was 15euros (this is an easy walk from the hotel along a garden with Greek ruins), Taormina was $25-35 depending on time of day and distance. The taxis are easy to call and quickly pick up. The grounds are well kept. Pool and poolside restaurant and bar are “here to help”. The beach is rocky and entrance is steep. Would definitely stay again

Property is in desperate need of maintenance, upkeep an rehabilitation. The corner room we were given was the worse hotel room we have ever had. Despite repeated request the staff and supervisor did not do anything about our request for change or upgrading the room at a cost. Unfortunately we had prepaid for the room, we could not cancel our reservation and move to another hotel.
I have pictures of all the maintenance issues with the room if anyone cares to see it.
