Excellent hotel, excellent staff, location is slightly off centre but not too far of a walk to the central touristy spots. Nice pool and spa, really recommend - can be overcrowded but manageable. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast only from 7:30-10:30am. Easy check in and check out. Would come back again.

Not too sure why this place gets such a good rating. Location is bad, room is basic at best. I wouldn’t have stayed here if the reviews were accurate and will not stay again.

Clean and cosy hotel with a fantastic terrasse. The pool was great and i liked that you have to book time there, so i was never to crowdy. Room was big and had a good kitchen. People at the reception where very helpful and always smiling. Had a fantastic stay at Forte 16 For sure we will come back

This hotel had some nice aspects - it’s in a nice neighborhood, we enjoyed the indoor pool and laundry, and having breakfast in the hotel was very convenient. However, the room itself was disappointing. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bedsheets were scratchy. The room was very damp and the air system circulated cold musty air. The bathroom had very little space for toiletry bags and very few bars or hooks for towels. These things matter when staying more than one night and especially when the room is for four people.

What a beautiful place to stay in Florence! You will want for nothing during your stay here. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. There is 24 hour access to ice and cold water and a daily breakfast with the usual fare. The hotel staff is extremely helpful with everything from the wonderful daily housekeeping staff to the front desk staff getting us taxis or helping us find anything and everything in the area. Some of the major attractions are a bit of a walk, 20-30 minutes, but we felt like we were walking off all that pasta and gelato. I would LOVE to stay here again!

Nice hotel with excellent staff. Driving around the city is quite nerve racking and we had a hard time finding the hotel. Nicolo went out front and waved us down and was so helpful with our parking and getting taxis. The whole staff was great and the room was comfortable. The "balcony" was not much of anything but offered a nice view. The bed was comfortable and the spa was top notch.

We had a fantastic stay at Forte 16 celebrating our 10-year anniversary and my wife's birthday. The rooms are very spacious, much larger than expected. The facilities certainly add something extra. We loved the fact that you could help yourself to ice, still and sparkling water in a large container and store it in your room fridge. This is conveniently located next to the spa and seemed easy to access without having to interact with anyone from most rooms using the lift. The rooftop hot tub was great, offering amazing views; we enjoyed watching the sun set over Florence with prosecco. The pool in the spa is fantastic, pretty much bath temperature, and has two water features you can control with buttons. A great place to relax and start your day, or after walking around Florence. The steam room and sauna are small and don't get that hot, but overall the spa space is a great addition to the hotel. Location-wise, we thought it might be a bit of a walk to get anywhere, but in reality, there are bars and shops almost everywhere walking towards the castle, and it feels central. Florence is mainly flat, and it takes little effort to get to most places. If you're used to getting Ubers, it's not the same in Florence; they are generally more expensive than taxis. To be honest, though, we walked everywhere for our entire stay. Generally, getting a taxi saves very little time to visit any of the main attractions in the local area.

I somehow booked a reservation at this hotel and they DO NOT send you a normal confirmation email. They sent an email about a hot tub experience that looked like spam. When our travel plans changed I could not find any sort of confirmation so I second guessed myself that I had booked it. Then they charged me over $800 for a no show fee. I contacted them several times about the error and they kept saying they sent me a confirmation but it was the hot tub experience email with nothing on it about the room reservation. This is very unethical business practices in my opinion. I highly recommend checking out a different hotel. They are not reasonable and will take any chance to take advantage of the customer.

This was a beautiful place. Very clean, spacious and modern. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The location was superb. Easy walk from the Firenze campo Marte train station, and also to all the main attractions. Highly recommend!

We are so very pleased we chose Forte16 in Florence. The steam sand sauna are excellent after the long flight and the area is where the locals want to live. To be just on the edge of all major attraction means ease of access. The staff are excellent in person and on email. I highly recommend the balcony room with handy kitchen and views of the Duomo and the Cathedral.

A comfortable and clean hotel with friendly staff. The room was spacious with a stocked small kitchen. The pool area very comfortable with attention to admitting a small number of guests for 50 min to allow everyone to enjoy the facility. The street area is quiet at night as is the hotel. Close to many restaurants and shopping as well as the historical centre of Florence.
