Would be great if the hotel provides slippers to guests. Otherwise, everything else was great. Nice location, helpful staff.

The area has excellent transport links, with Haymarket station nearby, making it perfect for exploring both the historic Old Town and the elegant New Town. I stayed for **one night from Wednesday, July 23 to Thursday, July 24, 2025**. The flexible check-in window (3 PM until midnight) was super convenient for my travel schedule, and the 11 AM check-out gave me enough time to get ready without feeling rushed the next morning. The hotel itself has a modern, minimalist aesthetic (visible in the booking thumbnail), which carried through to my room. Everything was clean, well-designed, and efficiently laid out. Point A is known for their smart, space-saving rooms that focus on quality essentials rather than unnecessary frills – perfect for city explorers who plan to spend most of their time out and about. Great location being walking distance to everywhere. 10/15 to Victoria street/royal mile. 2 mins to haymarket and where the airlink bus drops off. Close to lots of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarket. Friendly & welcoming staff. Good continental breakfast with lots to offer all very yummy. Very clean although basic small rooms it’s all you need for a little weekend away. Pillows are abit hard and no fridge in the room or tea/coffee makers (but they have that in the lobby). Overall impressed with the hotel & I would stay again.

Staff were lovely, polite and very helpful. Room was beautiful although a little noisy but that's expected. Continental breakfast optional and staff don't rush you.

Abit small but great for the location, able to walk to tourist attractions easily. Only concern was that my pyjamas was missing after the house cleaning, they misplaced my pants and I was unable to get it back. There was no compensation or anything done for it. The receptionist just told us sorry that they can't find it in their laundry pile.

Bit far walking from city centre. Was booking a normal double room, got accessibility room instead. Not a problem. Room is small, with tv and chrome cast. No water kettle or teas/coffees.

The hotel is about 10min away from the Edinburgh Waverley station. Next to Edinburgh conference centre. Good neighbourhood. Paying for breakfast £13 each. Normal breakfast. Good Christmas decoration and very nice and cozy sofa set to sit and view the vibrant activities outside the big windows. A plus point. Public transport needs at least 7-10 min walk to bus stop or tram station and restaurants

This is my second stay here. Happy with the good service, but this time we live on underground floor, the floor is dark

Room was quite small although not unexpected for a place like edinburgh. No bedside plugs that was a huge minus!

The hotel staff are very friendly, the room and corridors are clean and smells nice.Also, they were considerate when we have to checked out late because of an unexpected incident. Overall, it was a pleasant stay
