It’s a great location, and the balconies are spacious with a perfect view of the water. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which did not compare well with other hotels in Greece.

It was okay for a one-night stay, but there’s nothing particularly special about Gytheio. The hotel wasn’t very busy, yet they didn’t give us a room with a view, even though they could have. The balcony was very small, making it hard to step out for a cigarette, and the shower was also tiny.

Wonderful hotel, great room, beautiful bedding and super comfy mattress. AMAZING shower, lovely views straight onto the sea. Great breakfast, lots of choice, lovely staff. wish we were there for longer.

Let me start with the positives, room amazing, views fantastic. Negatives well before 8 several breakfast items had run out and what was on offer was not exceptional. Tiny little lift for so a big hotel, meant huge queues for the lift every time you wanted it. So be prepared to walk up and down 6 flights of stairs

Good hotel in the center of Gythio. Parking on the road. Friendly staff. Nice rooftop rooms on the fifth floor. Standard buffet breakfast. Hygiene Good. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood.

Pantheon hotel is located at the main street of Gythio, beside the sea. It has a view of the sea and the rest of the city (if you choose the front rooms with sea view and not the rooms with partial/side view of the sea). The staff is really friendly. Clean room that has a large double bed (as we requested) but with this big double bed this certain room seems to be not that big (but it ok for most couples) . Breakfast is good in order to get the energy you need to start the day. It has cereals, coffee, tea, eggs, omelets, cheese and ham, some fruits, marmalades and tahini, juice, bread and some more to choose. I would suggest you to choose the front rooms with the view of the sea including breakfast. Recommend this hotel if you visit Gythio and choose a room with sea view.

Came for a week of walking and flower spotting and very happy with this hotel. Our twin bed room had a spare bed and small balcony overlooking the harbour. Breakfast was simple but adequate and the staff very helpful and efficient. Gytheio in late April is fairly quiet but with good atmosphere and plenty of local restaurants. A very enjoyable stay.

Stayed on the top floor, corner room with incredible balcony overlooking the scenic harbor, really liked this hotel with two big rooms, and nice dining all up and down the block on the waterfront. Quaint little town.

I stayed for 2 nights in a Junior Suite, which was a very large room with a huge balcony overlooking the harbor. I recommend you splurge for the Junior Suite - you won't be disappointed. Breakfast was included and had all the usual items as well as a coffee machine that made cappuccino, espresso, etc. The hotel couldn't be more convenient. There's free parking everywhere. On my second day I was lucky enough to get a parking spot right in front of the hotel entrance. I would stay here again if I returned to Gythio.

Stayed for 5 nights, in 2 rooms (family of 5). Very convenient location right on the sea front and very close to the port. We had a very relaxing and trouble-free stay. The rooms were very clean and were thouroughly cleaned daily. While not grand, the bathroom was quite acceptable (I'm very fussy about bathrooms). Breakfast was served buffet-style, offering both hot and cold dishes, good variety and quality. The hotel is a very acceptable 4-star hotel.

View over the harbour, spotless room, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast - great quality. No other meals but pizzeria downstairs and huge choice of cafes, bars and restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Plenty of walks in the area, bus stop 10 minutes walk away. Good base to visit the area - Mani peninsula, Mystra, Monemvassia, Taygetos Mountains.

We stayed for a week in a Junior suite and had a fantastic time. The room was spacious with an enormous balcony looking out over the busy promenade and harbour to the bay with mountains on the horizon. Ideal for beautiful sunrises. There are plenty of great restaurants within easy reach and some lovely beaches a short drive away.

We had a room with side view on other building. It was small and there was not enough space to open a big suitcase. But it was clean. Ask for the harbour view. Breakfast were really tasty with a large selection of food. Good location. Helpful staff.

The hotel is in a great spot, right on the water and within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops in Gytheio. It can be tricky findind parking immediately outside the hotel, but there is plenty of spaces further round near the port and it's only a 3-5 min walk to the hotel You can also stop outside to drop off your luggage before you go and park. We had accidentally booked a twin room when we prefer a double and initially they said they couldn't change as the hotel was full. However, they moved things around and managed to give us a double room, which was so good of them. The room was a great size, with good bathroom, fridge, balcony and aircon and we slept very well. If you're looking for somewhere to base yourself to explore the area this is a great place to stay.
