We have not long got back from a week's all inclusive stay. From the initial booking in, all the staff were helpful and very friendly. The hotel decor is a little dated but that didn't affect our stay at all. The room was clean and tidy on arrival. The food was great, always a selection and again, restaurant staff and cooks were all friendly and welcoming. The pool staff were great, very attentive and friendly. There was never an issue getting a sun longer even later on in the day there was always space - not the mad dash you see with people reserving the first thing. Yes, people did this but there was always spare at all pools. We were very impressed with our stay as would definitely go back !

Excellent services. Great taste food. Activities all day long for all ages Staff very professional and very kind. Swimming pool was great Location of hotel very good near supper market and restaurants. Cleaning was excellent Thank you to all and we will be back

Myself and my wife stayed here for 7 nights - 4th- 11th August - Check in was very professional and friendly with a cool towel and drink on arrival - We stayed all Inclusive - our cases were taken to our room by the porter- our Room was very spacious and so comfortable and sea and pool view - safe- iron - coffee machine - chocolates wine in the room - The mini bar was well stocked and was re- stocked every day ( FREE ) if your all inclusive - The hotel grounds are spotless and wonderful - Pools are great with heated pools and salt water pool- sunbeds were very very comfortable and you never had a problem getting 1 ( although i would advise to put towels down before 9.30am - Entertainment is great - Evening shows are good and the singers in the lobby bar and very good - Staff here are so friendly and can't do enough for you x- FOOD - WOW- Absolutely blown away - breakfast - lunch - evening meal - you are spoilt for choice - we travel abroad 2-3 times a year and this is the BEST food we have experienced in this hotel X I could write much more but will finish by saying. This is a lovely hotel with some great facilities. I stayed B&B, there are plenty of local restaurants and bars within walking distance along the seafront. It’s located in the quieter end of Adeje, which was perfect for us. But the livelier area is within walking distance. The breakfast is amazing, a huge choice of things, in 7 days I did not get to sample everything. The room was clean, they serviced it twice a day if required. The pool areas are nice, although it got busy quite early.

Stayed in interconnecting rooms in Carmen block for 11 days. Anthelia is simply amazing. Attention to detail everywhere. The grounds are so clean, the pool area is so clean, the gardens excellently maintained. And considering the vast size of the resort, this is no mean feat! We stayed b&b and the breakfast was the best we have ever encountered. We also ate at the pool snack bar and that was also very tasty and well presented. The cocktails are delicious. Never an issue getting sunbeds and the pool towel system works really well. But, the single factor that sets Anthelia apart from others is the staff. Every single member of staff we met had a friendly smile and a greeting. Be that the maintenance staff, the house keeping staff or the many waiting staff, every single one of them went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated. It’d be impossible to name everybody individually but a special mention to Ines and Sara in the lobby bar and Ormond and Daniel in the pool bar (predominantly). And the head waiter at breakfast - wonderful gentleman who had a bright and friendly greeting every morning. Our family agreed it was the best holiday we have been on and we had the most relaxing time ever. Thank you Anthelia, we will most definately be back! Some things to note: - my biggest “issue”. Our double room had no door separating the bathroom from the bedroom and the toilet door had frosted glass. Now, I love my husband….but neither he nor I want to see each other’s shiloutte while sitting on the toilet. Our children had a twin room next door which had a door you could close to separate the bathroom from the bedroom. Much more acceptable - the resort is vast and it can take a while to get from your room to reception, a lot of walking - our rooms overlooked the children’s pirate pool. Our children are now teenagers who like their sleep. Unfortunately a few mornings star camp would jolt them awake with loud cheery music as it got underway for the younger guests at the pirate pool. It wasn’t a massive big deal but I’d prob ask to be moved next time to avoid our whinging teenagers - the hotel has a shop on site. It is extremely expensive and waaaaay overpriced for everything from soft drinks to suncream to books. Shop elsewhere.

We have just returned from the Hotel Anthelia. Costa Adeje.It is an incredible hotel and all the staff were friendly, helpful and enjoyed a chat. We had half board and the breakfast choice of food covered everything we required. The evening meals were cooked by amazing chefs and had lots of choices of meat and vegetables to suit everyone. There was a large choice of sweets, pastries, wonderful cakes and fruit. We looked forward to going to the restaurant not knowing what we would be choosing to eat. One of the waitresses Aramburu was particularly helpful and excellent at her job. The evening bar staff were very friendly and all the staff made us feel very welcome. The evening entertainment was very good. The swimming pools and garden areas were spotless and it was a pleasure to sit around the gardens. The bed turn down and chocolates each night were very welcome. The hotel is in a convenient area and it is possible to enjoy lots of lovely walks. This is our second visit to the hotel and would recommend it and we will stay again.

I can fully recommend Iberostar Anthelia, please see below my pros and a few cons. Pros - •A Great welcome, chocolates, cold flannel, cava or juice. •Plenty of staff all of whom are friendly and helpful. •Rooms are nice, although on the smaller size. •Pools are good and 2 are heated with plenty of spare sun beds around them. •The Towel system is great, you get cards and swap them for a towel each day for the pool or beach. •Breakfast, lunch and dinner has a great selection with ok quality food (I am abit fussy though!), they can get busy at peak times. •The gym is good and not very busy. •Quiz’s and Bingo are fun and nice prizes, caps and bottles of cava. •There is normally two choices of night entertainment, a live music act in the lobby and a show in the Anthelia Mall which are entertaining. Cons - •Rooms with connecting doors. Our 1st room had an adjourning door. Woke up on our 1st night after a very long day by next door at 11.30pm who were trying to open the door into our room and being very loud and they kept this up till gone 1am when we moved rooms (helpful & friendly staff) but poor room design and if you get an adjoining door room and want some quiet/peace I would ask to move. •Toilet paper is like single ply and not good quality for a 5* hotel. •There’s a lot of Flies at the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Both at your table and going onto the food buffet (Should either close some of the bifold doors or cover the food up). •Requirement for men to wear long trousers to dinner, I just don’t get why smart shorts are not ok for men but women and children can wear whatever they want.

Fabulous hotel in an excellent location. The staff, accommodation and food were exceptional. We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return in the near future. On the whole the entertainment was good but there were a few acts in the bar, with the exception of the saxophonist which were a little bit under-par.

We have recently returned from a 10 night stay in this high quality iberostar hotel. It was our first visit to Tenerife and our first time staying with this hotel brand. I have to say that we were delighted with both choices. After a stressful time, we wanted somewhere to switch off, relax and be taken care of for a while and this stay totally met our brief. Firstly, the setting and architecture of the hotel is impressive and effectively simulates an upmarket cañarían village. The gardens are absolutely immaculate and beautifully designed and planted with a wide variety of attractive and exotic trees and plants. Even when the hotel is busy, there are plenty of quiet and peaceful corners that can be found. There are three main pools and a separate enclosed pool area for younger children which comes complete with a pirate ship and some entertainment. Sometimes the pools can be noisy and loud music was played during a fashion show and for various aerobic classes in the main pool, but for the vast majority of each day, the norm is one of relaxed calm with peacefulness or quiet background music. One day a saxophonist played gently for a couple of hours and I think everybody fell soundly asleep! The rooms appear to be of good quality; not luxurious but are very clean and well serviced, each with a nice balcony area. The dining room is also of high quality with a great standard of service but still relaxed and friendly. The bars serve generous portions and are tended by friendly and efficient staff. In fact, the staff are the jewel in the crown of this hotel. Friendly and helpful to a fault, every time a member of staff was encountered you were greeted with a friendly ‘Hola !’. It really does make an enormous difference. I could go on, but I will just say that after ten days we all (reluctantly) came away feeling totally relaxed and recharged. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely be back to stay at this hotel or try another in the iberostar brand.

Wonderful hotel to stay at I enjoyed the all inclusive which included the drinks & meal in the buffet restaurant & the entertainment was brilliant good location in walking distance from the shops & beach & bedroom was lovely & if I had known that all inclusive was included in our room I would of taken a drink more often.

We have stayed at this hotel now for 7 or 8 times over the years. It all started many years ago when we stayed in Las Americas. We went out for a stroll and came across this wonderful hotel. When we arrived home we looked it up and booked the hotel for the following year and have never looked back. We did try another hotel in the area and every time we passed The Anthelia we regretted not being there. The hotel is beautiful with wonderful pool areas and lovely gardens. When the hotel is full you would never know as it’s so peaceful. The rooms are lovely and always spotlessly clean. The staff are superb, always smiling and look so happy in their work. The animation team put on great shows I don’t know where they get all the energy from. They work so hard. It was my birthday when we were there and when we returned to our room a cake had been delivered which was very thoughtful as we didn’t mention that it was my birthday to anyone. We also received a returning guest gift which was very nice. As always, we hope to return soon.

Our extended family stayed here for a week to celebrate our grandma's 70th birthday. The hotel is located on the waterfront just a stone's throw from the Playa del Duque. The service was consistently excellent. The staff could not have been more friendly. The buffet breakfast was outstanding and the spaciousness of the hotel buildings and grounds exceptional. The nightly entertainment was of a high standard and suited to all the family. Our only minor disappointment was that the kid's club was rather quiet at this time of year (mid-May). We will most certainly return to the Anthelia again.

This is my first time at the Iberostar Anthelia and it wont be my last. Having previously stayed with this brand at another 5* hotel in Tenerife, I was aware they look after their guests but this hotel does take it to another level. From the minute I arrived I felt like a VIP guest (yet I was just the same as all the others) We were in the rooms called Electra and looked over the sea. The room was spacious and immaculate. I recommend using the APP as it lets you know when your room has been cleaned each day! The Air Con is good and keeps you nice and comfortable without feeling dried out. Fantastic walk in shower, plenty of towels and a chocolate turn down service at night. The buffet breakfast and dinner is excellent and my birthday while I was there was recognised. Access from both the beach front and main street is easy giving you options when you go out. Staff are all friendly and very helpful from reception to restaurant, bar staff and housemaids. There is also a travel agent (W2M) in the main reception area who can book trips and offers better trips than you see down on the front all backed by a travel agent service. Great hotel and great service making you feel relaxed during your stay.

Absolutely stunning hotel thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family of 3 with a 5 year old. The hotel is huge and very secure, right by the beach and close to plenty of bars restaurants and shops. There is so much to do with plenty of activities for the kids. The pools are great it's a perfect mix of relaxation and play. The element that sets this place apart from places I've stayed previous is the staff they work incredibly hard and are so friendly and helpful, 1 staff member in particular "Jhon" has gone above and beyond for my family and he is a real credit to the hotel we will miss him but hope to see him next year when we return.
