Fab little Hostel, we had a private bedroom with bathroom . All staff and guests where lovely to speak and talk to, will definitely be returning, thank you for making my first hostel experience such fun one.

Washrooms can be cleaner. Everything is reasonable for the price tho

I wish I wrote a good review and that my holiday and house would have not been f##ed but here I am: Before my arrival I was warned that there were bedbugs infestations in some parts of the island and that this hostel is one of the places that is known to have them. Still, I did not believe it and I said what can be so bad about them if it's true, cause I had no clue what bedbugs actually are. So I just went there. WORST.DECISION.OF.MY.LIFE. I started feeling things crawling at night on me and I said maybe it's just in my head. Then I started waking up with red spots. I told the two receptionists and showed them the first spots, but the girl told me that maybe it's something else and the reception boy laughed to my face and told me that I brought them.....moreover, there is absolutely no place in the rooms to put your luggage with clothes so everyone has to leave them under the bed. I will not tell you the link between this and the bugs and dirt in/under the bed cause you can imagine what goes into your clothes in these conditions. Keep in mind that bedbugs lay eggs also....So everyone leaves their stuff where they can, but then the cleaning girls (that dont speak English, the ones that did my room) come and put PERSONAL stuff into garbage bags so you can't find anything. I wasnt the only one to complain about my personal belongings being moved around while I was not in the room. Also, the reception man opened my luggage while I was out!! and put it into a super dirty area under bed and lied to my face even if my roommate saw him do it. But this is after all not so serious as the bedbug problem and its consequences. If I had the chance to turn back time I would under no circumstances go to a bedbug place, no matter how cute the swimming pool is or how nice the place looks like, but unfortunately now is too late for me and I do blame myself for not doing more research and for booking in a hurry.

An absolute gem of a place. Booked as we were looking for somewhere cheap to stay as we traveled to Tenerife for my sister's birthday. I've stayed in hostels before, so knew what to expect but Duque Nest blew those expectations out of the water. Staff are all friendly as well as all the other guests. The facilities are always super clean and are the kind you'd find in larger chain hotels. Their rule of no noise after 11pm is well adhered to, meaning you can get a great night's sleep. The WiFi is fantastic compared to other places, my sister stayed in one of the local big chain properties and their WiFi was so bad, it was pointless using it. I would recommend this place to anyone.

An unforgettable stay at Duque Nest Hostel! The atmosphere is incredibly warm and inviting, making it feel just like home. The facilities are spotless, and the staff is super helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. Located close to the beach, which is perfect for relaxing days by the ocean. Thank you for an amazing experience in Tenerife! Highly recommended!

Great hostel in a rich area. The hostel is like two mansions teamed up. I stayed in December. I arrived to be greeted by Andrea (who is awesome) training two new volunteers at reception, who all kindly entertained my attempt at speaking Spanish. I did find it quite odd that 90% of the staff were incredibly good looking women. The breakfast is really good in a fantastic underground fancy cave like setting. They have themed food nights each night, while a little pricey for what you get, is a great way to meet some of the other guests. There is a really good Italian pizza place a few minutes walk inland nearby. And a park just over the road with a small calisthenics open gym area. My only note of improvement would be to ditch these squeaky clunky metal bunk beds and replace them with solid wood, maybe even more of a pod style type. Anyway thanks for the great stay

I had such an amazing experience at this hostel! The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The hostel has great amenities and is in an ideal location, where there is so much to do! Would definitely recommend
