It was my first visit to Bandung so I wanted to stay in the city center. I arrived and departed Bandung by train so decided to stay at the Hotel Santika Pasirkaliki due to its very close proximity to the Bandung Train Station. It is also close to several restaurants and the Paskal Hyper Square Shopping Mall. It is a short taxi ride to the popular JL Braga street, or a very pleasant 30 minute walk from the hotel. Hotel Santika is a a high quality hotel chain in Indonesia. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The room rate also includes breakfast. The Hotel Santika Pasirkaliki is also a very new hotel (I think constructed around 2022?) so all the rooms and furnishings are in excellent condition. The breakfast offered many local dishes which I preferred, and the restaurant (half open air and half air conditioned) has a nice view of the city. The bed in my room was nice and comfortable with clean and crisp linen which I liked. The room to include the bathroom were very clean and well maintained. The customer service at the hotel was outstanding. From check-in to check-out, the staff throughout the hotel were very cordial and friendly. Lodi checked me in and helped me so much throughout my stay. For example, I wanted to coordinate with a local shop for some services and he went out of his way to call the shop for me since I couldn't speak Indonesian. Lodi also loaned me a power adapter to charge my devices in my room since I didn't have the proper plug. This outstanding customer service contributed to my memorable visit to Bandung. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Santika Pasirkaliki during my next visit to Bandung!
