Good location - close to downtown and magnificent mile. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Inventory in good condition - a little bit obsolete. Breakfast was super good but make sure to arrive early since it can get quite busy. Staff is very friendly and helpful overall.

It is a very good hotel, I have been here three times. Good staffs! I left my jacket in breakfast hall and didn’t realize it till it was cold 2 days later…and I asked the staff during my breakfast, she immediately went to find it out for me! Warm feeling now…

방 시설은 조금 오래되었지만 침대가 편안하고 방 크기또한 커서 좋았습니다 :)

Stay was amazing. Very accommodating and the staff is super friendly. Clean rooms. Awesome amenities.

The front desk team was busy. They had positive attitudes and were helpful. However, upper management needs to make better choices. Two luggage carts on spring break? Two luggage carts for a hotel of this size? Not adequate. Staff allowed to use the elevators for laundry and cleaning carts during checkout time?? Staff weaseling their way in front of guests to get on the elevator because everyone is waiting 10+ minutes to go downstairs? Totally inappropriate. I reserved a corner room, it was given away. I was not compensated. Tons of wine moms drunk and hollering in the lobby. I felt like I reserved a room at a basic bar outside of a lululemon. Yuck.

We really liked the complimentary drinks. We didn’t get the time to use them but thought that gesture had us loving Hilton even more!

After reading recent reviews this past week, I was very nervous about our stay. Here are my pros and cons of this hotel for a family of 4 with boys ages 11 and 13: Pros: -Renovated rooms with new furniture and comfy beds. -Made-to-order omelet breakfast (much better than those instant eggs on the buffet) -Two free drinks each evening with snacks -Location-walking distance to Michigan Ave. -Friendly staff Cons: -Elevators were not all working...waited long waits to get to our room, to mezzanine for breakfast, to lobby, etc. They have four or five elevators, but not all working. Makes you insane having to wait so long. Took the stairs often. -Valet parking is $79 a night...outrageous! -A TON of people at this hotel-they definitely take as many reservations as possible -No room cleaning service while we were there for three days; had to walk to lobby (phone in room did not call front desk) to ask for toilet paper and more towels and then wait for them to be delivered to our room -Felt like once you were checked in, you had to fend for yourself. -Pool was small and PACKED. Never even used it because it was so overcrowded. Word of advice unrelated to hotel-if you want to be able to eat dinner somewhere, make a reservation days ahead of time. We found several places had tables available, but be cause we didn't have a reservation, they said they did not have the space for us (we could go on open table and make a reservation for 15 mins. later to get in).

We were at the hotel for 5 nights. On our first night, we received a text from a bot stating that if we had any issues we should reply to the text. We did, but there was no response. The phone extension was disabled. We had to go to the front desk to get anything handled. The bot sent another text a few days later asking for a review. When I gave a poor one (filthy vents, lack of service, lack of climate control), the bot asked what it could do to improve things. I asked for a cleaning and help with extensive overheating in the room. No response. In addition, no one came to clean the room throughout our stay. Trash was piled up by the last day. Breakfast was always anxiety provoking because there were so many guests, not enough staff and not enough places to sit. As soon as 9:30 hit, the staff they did have started closing areas off whether people were finished eating or not. One or more of the four elevators was broken throughout our trip. Because we were on the 9th floor, it felt like we were being held hostage. The room itself was large, well furnished and the bed was comfortable. It boils down to poor service, which seemed to be due to a lack of appropriate staffing.

The breakfast was great but they definitely don’t have the staff to run such a large hotel. The elevators were constantly under construction and only two working. Room seemed dirty upon arrival. Multiple people complaining about toilets leaking. Pool limit is 20. Why such a little pool for 11 story high hotel!

The elevator situation was terrible. It took 10 minutes to get an elevator and when one finally arrived, it was usually full of people resulting in waiting longer for an elevator with room. It seemed like they only had one or two (of four) running at a time, even during peak hours. If you're in a hurry at any time during your stay, you'd need to take the stairs. Breakfast was complimentary but it was so busy that it was almost impossible to get anything, including a seat. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.

Had to wait 10+ minutes repeatedly for an elevator EVERYTIME we left our room. They were only running 2 out of 4 elevators with most rooms booked. Very inconvenient. Toilet was not cleaned prior to us checking in. Pee and poop found on underside of toilet seat when used the first time. What else was missed? Guess we will never know. Lastly, booked a corner room and was not given one. Instead, our only view was the parking garage next door. Will not be returning to this hotel.
