The location was great. It wasn’t far from any stores. The pool was nice! The breakfast was good 👍🏾 Would stay again!

Terrific check-in staff, lovely clean room (at first). Excellent breakfasts. Then — no hot water, room not cleaned or bed made in three-night stay, trash cans overflowing in room, clean towels available if you catch the housekeeping staff in the hallway, tissues emptied and not refilled.

Enjoyed our stay. Nice clean room. Nothing special. Shower had Dove toiletries which were nice. Safe was large enough to hold IPad. Breakfast was more than adequate and was well supplied. Location proved to be good. Restaurants from Thai to barbecue were nearby. The lynx line train was a couple minutes away (with free parking!) Staff was friendly enough. Saw the team cleaning the floor of common area - hand spraying tough areas etc . I was impressed. A problem free getaway. Note: we didn’t use pool

Very nice hotel to stay at. It's clean and it's just not 1 or 2 people that are nice, the entire staff is friendly across the board. This is my first stay here and I will be coming back. I am telling my out-of-town co-workers to stay at this property. Lastly, there are some places that are still not serving breakfast, the GM is actually taking that role on until they get someone. If that does not sound like an establishment that wants to provide great customer service, then I don't know what is. There are a lot of places, close by to choose from to go get something to eat as well.

Have stayed here 5 nights this year. Both rooms were clean. Staff have been very helpful and super professional. Breakfast has yogurt and good coffee and clean! The bed was soft which was fine for me and the pillows are perfect.

I come to Charlotte once, maybe twice a year for just a weekend to get away. I love this area where the hotel is located, there are so many shops & restaurants both of which are pretty easy to get to. All of the staff was super friendly, our room was pretty clean, checkin/out was easy to do. This is my second stay at this hotel, I remember the first stay the hotel being super clean and new looking, however on this second trip the "new" look was not there.. the rooms are starting to look a bit dated, and some more cleaning may be needed throughout the hotel. But nonetheless the hotel overall was decent..

All of the staff were attentive, friendly, and hospitable. I was a guest at this property for two nights. We had a maintenance issue at night. The front desk employee was able to remedy the situation in the matter of minutes. I observed a kitchen staff help a mother of two by holding her infant which allowed her to prepare the plates for their breakfast. I was looking forward to enjoying the cookies at the front desk over the weekend. We expressed our disappointment and asked if there were any alternatives as a joke. Dominique, a manager on duty, had left us some cinnamon roles and Häagen-Dazs ice cream in our room with a sweet note in our room when we returned. I was pleasantly surprised. And, thoroughly enjoyed the treats. Dominique also timely rectified an issue I had with my bill. This hotel is in a great location to shopping, dining, and downtown.

I was turned away from the hotel because I am a local. The manager said everybody who lived nearby was either a ********** of a drug dealer so they instituted the policy. The hotel is in a majority black neighborhood so I think it is intentionally discriminatory. When I objected, the manager screamed at me and offered money to leave since he couldn't reinstate the points I used for the room. Just FYI, I am a 65 year old white woman and an IHG platinum elite.

Not a very good experience going right in to this hotel. Just like every hotel I’ve gone to, I park and then enter to check in. The usual ID, and maybe your credit card. I was then told “you can’t stay here” then told because my age that I wouldn’t be able to stay. I know some hotels have age restriction. However this is usually never an issue… not like they had a bar or there was alcohol in the room. It’s just very annoying because this is stated NOWHERE on their description. I’m lucky I had my mother with me as she had to aid the check in process. It’s irritating because I can serve my country, pay taxes, bills and own a car to drive my self to this hotel.. but “oh you’re not old enough”. I’m still not sure why this hotel has an age restriction, the age in North Carolina to book and stay at a hotel is 18. I’m 20! Other than that the hotel was decent. But the HVAC did not work correctly in the room (set heat) but only cold air came out. There was also a very annoying beeping sound coming from the outlet under the TV. Additionally when trying to take a shower the door would not stay closed. Stayed in room 204. Breakfast was this hotels redeeming quality. It was good and had plenty of choice.
